(replying to pitti) Yeah, the German Autobahns have no general speed limit UNLESS you see speed limit signs, usually in an urban area. There is a RECCOMMENDED (not mandatory) speed of 130kp/h (80mph), but you can go at whatever speed you want as long as you don't drive recklessly.
