Sorry to bump this, but I have also finally gotten the game (had it about 3 weeks now). Today I had a great battle with someone after being practicaly beaten apart from my explorer and a load of settlers. After getting to the fortress age I remade my base on the 2 small islands off of the mainland of New England where they enemy would not find me. This was very successful as I made a reasonable army and a huge navy. Unfortunately for me he used spies, saw what I was doing and sent an army to try and destroy me. The 2 armies clashed causing a stalemate. He spent about 20 minutes trying to knock my naval supremacy out the window and alomst succeeded until i balanced my navy to cover the entire shore meaning he couldn't set up a dock again. By this time my fort and factory had been destroyed meaning I would have resource problems. So I resigned. I would not have beaten his settlement anyway after i saw what he had. But it was a cracker of a game and shows what AoE3 can really be! And my PC handles it flawlessly (2.6Ghz Processor, 1Gb 400DDR RAM, 256Mb PCI-E nVIDIA GeForce 6600)! Anyone who has some reasonable specs and hasn't got the game yet I strongly advise you get it soon!

OMG!! 11th!! I didn't think The Human Body was THAT great! It beat like 2 of my favourite journnals of all time on this rating scale (TimeBomb and Wood County-Resurrected)!! Nice work sharing this with us TMS!

I think my member label has been out-of-date for a while now . I believe that in my maps thread on the Mapp Squad board in the forums I posted my resignation a few months back. If I could have my label removed ASAP that would be appreciated! Mr Veggie

It looks ok...but I'm still comparing it to AOE3 to see which one I should buy, but since I have experience and anctually like the AOE series i'm leaning towards that one, but i dunno if Civ 4 is any good yet...

I wouldn't say 30 years...I'd say 12 maybe though. 1 Million is ay too big a milestone to go for. I remember the days when it was just 10,000.
