Really nice! I'm working a a quite similar city, with lots of urban sprawl just like yours! But i have to ask how did you make your transit map. Please say htat you yoused som awesome easy tool!

As the title asks.. Which feature of the disabled ones do you miss the most? As you know EA had major server problems at launch, to ease the load on servers they decided to disabled some of the "non-critical features" from the game, it is unowned when these features will be back.. My guess is that they will re-introduce the features slowly one by one via the test region to see if the servers can handle the pressure and expand with servers if they can't. So to prioritize.. which one would you see as the first feature back in game? Me myself would like to see the region filters put back in. For a guy like me who doesn't have any friends playing the game to invite to regions have to search for regions with empty slots, and it is very time consuming... Achievements are the least necessary feature in my opinion. What do you think?

has anything been said about what transportation and mass transit systems will be used? cause in that last picture it looks like a tram... I could only hope for it!

My wishlist is not so much of a list its more of a big wish.. I would like to have more dynamic cities and regions! I would like cities to be even more connected to each other, that sims in the region are more flexibel.. I would like to build regions with different demografic populations, like university citys with a high amount of young adults, but not many working adults. i would like more types of demografics. To that i would like to give cities in a region diferent roles. -- One city could have the legislativ power, with the high court and other with other institutions, while another city is the financial center with the stock markets and central state bank, while yet a nother city could be the high tech industry city, university city or maybe a transportatin hub. There should be some kins of special buildings that could be unlocked for a region as a whole. that could only be placed once, in one city - until the capacity is full, then maybe a second stock market could be built. It is unrealistic that every big city has its on stock market, high court and other things that usally is handled on a national basis. This would also force the cities to be more dynamic and more integrated with each other. Thoughts?

I hate the wierd unrealistic capacities everywhere and how inadequate they are, almost all busstation and train, subway are overfull far over their max capacity (of course i've downloaded new ones) but still! And i hate the how the universities work, (or how they don't work) A city with more the 1,2 million inhabitants should have more then 4000 students especially in a region of 3,5 million inhabitants and is the only university, i mean there are 7000 students in my town and we are only 50000...

well i would say that most big American cities are famous for everyone, where ever you live, New York, LA, Washington, San Fransisco, Chicago, Las Vegas, Miami, and so on... Also other world Capitals like the european cities London, Paris, Madrid, Berlin are famous, the same goes for Shanghai, Hong, Kong and Sydney. But if you ask Europeans they would say something like 1. London 2. Paris 3. Brusseles. 4. Rome. 5 Madrid If you ask Asians, most of them would probobly not mention Brusseles even if that is the EU headquaters, infact Brussels has only been included once. And no a single african city has been noticed, even tho Kairo, Egypt and Johannesburg, South Africa is modern westerntype cities important for the whole african kontinent. So depending who you ask and in what situation, you will get different anserws. But anyway this is my top 11 list of important cities from my point of view (two cities from each kontinent to balans): 1. New York (United Nations, Nato, The united States largest city, and the economic wheel) 2. Brusseles (European Union, ) 3. Washington (The most powerful gouvernment in the world (until China takes over)) 4. Tokyo (One of Asias biggest cities,most modern and economicly developed city) 5. London (Economic motor of Europe) Zurich banking city, but the amount of money fluency is bigger in London 6. Moscow (The Russians capital, a city influenced by the Oil and gas companies) 7. Johannesburg (Not South Africas capital, but one of the biggest in the country. SA alone stands for 25% of Africas BNP so South Africa is the most influenctiual country there) 8. Buenos Aires (In a nic country with high development, the city is very important for the who South American Country. 9 Sydney is Australias biggest and most importat city, and for the whole Oceanic region. 10. Ciudad Juarez (This may seem odd, but the city of death, is also a city with high income and development, and there are mighty people here trying to get control over the smuggling routes.) 11.Kairo (Well even if Kairo isn't the second best economic city/Country is fits in, because of the contacts of the arabic peninsuela. and its contacts with Israel, its a true city of diplomacy) 12. Dubai (Instead of giving this spot to the Oceanic region, the Arabs gets 1 even tho its Asia. But this mighty city of Great Architecture, Oil, Rich shejk and the fastest buildin capital, it deserves a spot!

Calcutta would be kind of cool, but i prefere a world caprtial to be more modern.. so we should new city... maybe at some historic city like Pompeji, Herkulanum or Atlantis, or a new tjernobyl

I think there should be region capitals, there are to many great cities in this world with different importans. If every region had a capital it would be more fare. Region: Capital: Why? Europe Brussels The European Unions headquaters are there and is the Center of EU. North America New York NY is the Economic motor in USA and biggest and most recognized city. South America Rio de Janeiro Voted most beautiful city several times, famous for carnival, and kristusstatue. Asia Hong Kong Asias most advanced country with great infrastructure Africa Cape Town Beautiful city, in africas most developed country, long tradition/history Oceania Sydney The biggest, most known and most qualified city. I think Brussels, New york and sydney are obvious choices, but Rio maybe hard to deside, São Paulo and Lima are also qualified. Africa was the hardest choice South Africa stands for 25% av the Whole Africas BNP so maybe it should be cape town, but cape town is situated far away from the rest of africa. are more sutable location would be Abuja(Nigeria) which also is the most populous country in Africa... What do you think?

Hi all, I have a question! How do you make your transportation maps, i've seen various maps made by players for their 'cityjournals. Iwould like to know what tools you use or programs. I would like to draw a nice map with my bus route system. ... Maybe you just use paint but, i think you alla use different programs,any tips?

Nice All, my record region is something around 11 million, my current region Nordica. Has 5.967.653 inhabitants, would say that 94 % lives in urban areas, The country Nordica consists of 5 subregions where the Tri city Area is the most populated with the three biggest cities in a small cluster consists more then 69% of the countries population. The largest city Treolburg/Treålborg (International/Swedish name) has 2.367.436 citizens. Excluded Suburbs. (large City) Svarskrona 1.395.468 citizens (large City) Bergsjön 368.435 citizens (medium) The Country has had a fast growing population but has stagnated, Nordica now faces a aging population with smaller workforce,more finacial problems and jobs moving abroad.

I was just reading this and i don't really have the same problem but i want to know where you change the Left side driving thingy. is it maybe a mod that ive downloaded. And everytime i use the Udrive I can not cross railroad or go near them because the the Udrive mod close. Any ideas of how to fix this?
