I find it hard to conceive of how Obama or Clinton running the country could be worse the the current management. I am at least convinced that either of those candidates would obey the Constitution, a document the current administration has seemed determined to ignore as much as possible.
Both leading democratic candidates also represent a type of person (woman, Africian-American) who has never held the office. What a fantastic opportunity for our country! Meanwhile the Republicans put forth what, 7-8 old white men? Been there, done that.
I also do pay "real" taxes, and, on a city planning topic, I'd support a raise in those taxes if it went to rebuilding the falling apart infrastructure and built a comprehensive nationwide mass transit system on the scale of the Eisenhower Interstate System.
