  1. Got a quick SC4 question?... Ask here!

I see, that explains it. Thanks for your help!
  2. Got a quick SC4 question?... Ask here!

I don't seem to have the residentials, and probably many others. Am I misunderstanding what sc4pac does? If I go to the 'SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC Common Dependencies Pack' and use the blue download button, I get a 1,7 gb zip with an installer inside. Isn't sc4pack supposed to do the same if I use the black 'download with sc4pac' button (or more specifically, since that button doesn't work for me, going to the sc4pac website linked bellow it, and then opening it in the desktop app)? That's what I did, and I seem to get a few of the dependencies but definitely not the whole list.

Well that's the thing, that is exactly what I did. These packs by SG and others like Mattb325 have to be installed manually, but all their dependencies can be installed with sc4pac. It's mostly just the BSC common dependencies pack anyway. Could some stuff be missing from those? Good to know the query is a related issue.

Hello all, What could cause the query tool to not show an information window on certain houses when clicking them? It does show some basic information when hovering over them, and when I click them the doorbell sound plays, but no popup shows up. I have the issue with about half of the houses that got build, other half works fine. I recently did a new install, following Ulisse's guides for performance, graphics, and gameplay, installed NAM and CAM, and most of the buildings in Ulisse's CAM list. Also, I have brown boxes showing for some residentials, they are all called 'RLS small home". I figure these came from SC4D LEX Legacy - BSC SimGoober Residentials. They all have the issue described above, although that is also happening with other lots that don't have a brown box. I should have all the dependencies, installed them through sc4pac.

Thanks for checking! Would it be a question of setting those to 0 for the intended behaviour? Also I'm wondering, is there a difference between the fields and the main building? Because iirc the building didn't display a no water symbol, but the fields definitely all do.

Thanks, I will give it a shot!
  7. Got a quick SC4 question?... Ask here!

How would I go about checking that myself? Seems like getting the game up and running the way I'd like will require some work on my part anyway, might as well get started with this.
  8. Got a quick SC4 question?... Ask here!

No it was in a new empty region. I haven't played in more than a decade, so except for the tutorial region everything else is empty.
  9. Got a quick SC4 question?... Ask here!

Hi all, I'm playing with CAM 2.1, Collosus farming, IRM, and most of the set of buildings recommended by Ulisse Wolf in his CAM list. Seems to be working fine, except for the fact that farm fields all have the 'no water' symbol over them. If I read the CAM manual right, they shouldn't require water until stage 3 and up. Is this a known bug, or did I install something wrong perhaps?
  10. Thanks, that seems to have done the trick! I was still getting some false negatives, but it seems that is due to looking for the exact file name. For instance, you have both 'BSC MEGA Props - CP Vol01.dat' and 'BSC Mega Props - CP Vol02.dat' in your dependencies list. In the pack MEGA is fully in caps in both file names, so the Vol02 wasn't found. Similar things with files having extra or fewer spaces, or a v2 added. I suppose that is beyond the scope of this tool to take that into account?
  11. I've experimented a bit, and it is quite mixed. For instance, I've tried installing your 'AndisArt SC13 Homes Redone'. I have attached the output for both scripts (seems I'm not able to post it in a spoiler, gets marked a spam). I've installed the required 'SC2013-inspired Homes Pack' and (as far as I can tell) all other dependencies. When I run the remove list it finds most, but not all, files to remove. Those are definitely present though. For the dependencies it counts two files to be removed, 0/27 depencencies found (27 dependencies not required due to conditional rules), 0/0 missing. Those 27 not required are all marked as being not found. I get similar results with other depenencies checks, can't find an other mod with a remove list right now. Dependencies output.txt Removelist output.txt
  12. Hi @nos.17, I seem to be having some trouble using cleanitol. No matter what (dependencies) script I run, it always tells me "0/31 dependencies found. (31 dependencies not required due to conditional rules)", or however many dependencies were in the list. When I run detailed output the explanation is always the same "BSC MEGA Props - CP Vol01.dat was skipped as was not found. Item: BSC MEGA Props CP Vol 01". Removescrips seem to work fine. Am I missing something? I'm running windows 10, installed .NET7 runtime version 7.0.16 (first did version 8.something that is linked in your description, but couldn't run cleanitol with that apparently), and extracted contents of the net7.0-windows folder in the zip to a location on my harddrive (C:\Games\SC4 Cleanitol to be specific).
