Hi all! So nice to be a part of this community! I'm a married 26 year old housewife (at the moment). I worked for many years in the design industry (interior, reno, kitchen/bath, etc), and am obviously unemployed. I'm a recent Canadian transplant living in Michigan; it's fun to point to a spot on your hand as an explanation of where you live! I've been playing SimCity since 2000, then 3000 came out and it was like an addiction for me for a few years until I learned most ins and outs of it - now it's just like comfort food to me - something easy to play yet still lovely to do. When SC4 came out I purchased it promptly, played it for a few months, and then just stopped. I found it too overwhelming, and couldn't find a place like this where knowledge is gathered and shared. So you better believe now that I've downloaded a few things, I am SO excited about getting back to my SC4. Also, I have tried The Sims, didn't much care for it, except the house designing part! I also enjoy the entire Doom and Quake series, old style shoot 'em ups, Myst, Zoo Tycoon, Roller Coaster Tycoon, etc. I'm glad to have joined such a nice forum!
