      That stupid Windows 10!!! Had the same problem when I updated it... My love for SC4 made me download the game from Steam to keep playing afterwards, as it is the only way of playing the game due to that stupid disc plugin.

      There is a way that you can bypass the problem and play with a disk on windows 10.

      You should be able to downgrade back to Windows 7:

      Might be worth a try. :)
