Awesome BAT. Night illumination looks great!
  2. Bat4Max 2K edition V 4.5

I have no idea what's going on with my max, but after I read your post I checked Gamma/LUT settings (everything is set correct). Then when I opened material editor I found that gamma settings now works and all day/night renders looks as they should, so sorry for bothering and thanks for the help.

Hi SimFox, I recently installed Max 2010 and Bat4Max 2K edition V 4.5. My problem is, as you can see below, that the renders are too dark: I checked the installation and tried reinstalling Bat4Max, but problem is still there...

Hi! A friend of mine is using max9 and he got a problem with "Let there be light" day view. When he rendered his building before using Ltbl, it looked like this: But, after he installed Ltbl, that building looks like this: We checked the installation and all files are installed correctly. I checked the roof texture in my max2008 and it was only a little bit too dark, so I decreased bitmap output and then it looked good. When my friend changed output with my coordinates in his max9 it gave even worse results - texture was way too bright. To be sure that this is not a problem with his textures I send him some of mine (textures was never edited in any way), the result was the same - textures were too bright (in my max2008 they loked very good). He also tried with changing Gamma output to standard setup, there were not any results. Could it be that the max9 generate such an odd colors of textures? And one more question - is there a way to make buildings rendered in "Maxis nite" match to Gizmo's night mod in game and vice versa? 'Cause when I exported night version of my building with "Maxis nite" it was brighter than the other buildings, when I used night mod.

I have a problem with "Let there be light" and raytraced reflection materials. In standard max CamLightRigs it looks OK, just like this: I used here racetraced material with 90% reflection and also sky texture as environment map. But when I hit the "Day" button of LtbL, and then made a preview render it looks like this: As You can see, the background turned back into black, like if there where no sky map (even change of colour of background did nothing, it is still black). Also that "glass box" in front of sphere changed it colour from blue to kind of light grey. Why it all heppend? Am I did something wrong again? And for the other example preview render made with "Maxis Nite" looks OK (I turned off the sky environment map for this preview): Sorry for my English, but I think You'll know what my problem is all about
  10. Hello Everyone! I have a few odd problems with my 3ds Max and Bat4Max. I'm using 3ds Max 2008 (as it SimFox recomends), Bat4Max v.2.6, "Let there be light" and Jasoncw's TruNite Rig. When I installed bat4max v2.6, and then opened max, this pop-up window opened: The next one problem is, that when I click on "Let there be light" buttons (day, night, etc.) 3ds Max shows this message: What all my problems are all about? Did I messed up something when I was installing those files or maybe there's something with my 3ds Max? Or maybe I should move Max folder from Autodesk to C: ? Thanks in advance.
