  7. Sculpting Columbia River

Jeronij, What a fine looking son Bastian is! You must be very proud! I hope that things go well for you and your family in the future. I like the pics you posted this time. The one with the roads in Vandysaart...reminds me of a TV show or movie where they would take the dirt road to cut 'em off at the pass Waiting patiently for the next update Respectfully, rhino
  8. Project: Nuked York

Good job so far! Keep it up!
  9. Sculpting Columbia River

Godwin1020, check this link for info on underwater tunnels...https://www.simtropolis.com/idealbb/view.asp?topicID=59042. Or there may have been discussion earlier in SCR about it (not sure, but Jeronij has used them to great effect). Hope that helps. Sorry about that Jeronij...another beautiful update! 68.05 Nice job on the tunnel. Does the other end come out near the tower featured a few pages ago? The Citadel looks great! I wasn't expecting you to populate it, but thought it was just going to be a tourist spot. Another surprise, I guess I should be used to it by now 68.07 and 68.08 I especially like the ponds going under the walls of The Citadel. Very cool... Keep up the great work! Respectfully, rhino
  10. Tales of Eternia

Hi SI, Good update...well, updates since I missed the one before that (sorry). The story is really interesting and I see alot of potential (maybe Keele and Maria will get married and have star children?) I do have one question though...in the pic of Cliff and Maria's house there are two white things in the fields. What are they? Looks like some type of irrigation equipment maybe? Anyway, keep up the good work! Respectfully, rhino PS - I think the pace and length of the updates is just right.

Jeronij, I agree with Darmok and will say to think of yourself and family first. Do what makes you happy and I'm sure that your many devoted followers will respect your decision. I don't think you'll lose any fans either way. BV does look good and you've got some interesting things going on already. Respectfully, rhino
  12. Freedonia

Good start...another imaginative way to present a city journal. Good luck to Freedonia!

Hi Jeronij, HOLY COW!!!! 66.02 What a great snapshot! I would not think to place a parking lot between the homes like that. For an apartment complex...yes, but for single family homes...no. Jeronij, you do it and its the perfect thing. It sets that snapshot apart from any others I've seen of residential areas. Is it something that's done in Spain? I've never seen it in the US. 66.03 What can I say? The stairs...cool! The ponds and waterfalls in the next set of images are picture perfect. A great place to spend an afternoon with the kids. And then the final image with the bridge in it makes that scene even better. Every time you post an update I'm amazed at your attention to detail and the way you combine all of the elements together to create a thing of beauty. And I wonder how can it get any better? And then you post another update and I find out how it can. You, sir, are an artist Respectfully, rhino
  14. Tales of Eternia

Nice update! The story is really interesting and combined with the great images provides for a good read. Keep it up!
  15. Sculpting Columbia River

The CD mod really changes the look of things. Can't wait to see what happens around the Xorrigo Mountains. Respectfully, rhino
  16. Sculpting Columbia River

Hi Jeronij, Very nice update! 64.03 I don't see how anyone living in such a beautiful place could ever need a hospital, unless its for taking care of injuries gotten in all of the parks available to the citizens of Costa Tramuntana...or maybe neck strains incurred from looking at all the lovely scenery? Is the hospital available on the STEX? I don't think I've seen it there. EDIT: Never mind, I found it. Here's the link if anyone else is interested...https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?mode=files&filetype=Lot&Str=nexisgeneralhospital 64.05 Is that a statue of Ambassador Darmok? I love the way you've used the pond and stream kit around Ets Amunts so far, can't wait to see the finished product. Keep up the great work! Respectfully, rhino
  17. Tales of Eternia

Now I'm hooked...looks like another CJ I'm going to have to subscribe to! I'm interested in the capacity mods you're using too. I checked in the mods section but may have missed them. Where did you get them? rhino
  18. Tales of Eternia

Great start! I agree with TPP... if this is anything like the terraforming, its going to be one heck of a ride!
  19. Sculpting Columbia River

Very nice If you would start a new region I'm sure it would be nothing short of spectacular!
  20. JCH Parks

    Good job!
  21. Titans Tower

Read the first line of the description, "created for fun". That's the point. I like it and I KNOW my kids will! Good job!
  22. Sculpting Columbia River

Hello jeronij, Another fine update! I have never had any desire to play the UDI portion of the game, but I have to say that driving through CR would be very enjoyable. I can just imagine cruising through the region in a little red convertible, the sun shining and a cool breeze coming across the river while I soak in all of the wonderful scenery. Now, if only I owned a convertible! Respectfully, rhino
  23. Sculpting Columbia River

jeronij, Thanks for posting the picture and link. You surprised me though, I was expecting the highway to re-emerge somewhere on the other side of the tower. Never thought about it going underwater! Your imagination is boundless! Can't wait for the next update...keep up the good work! rhino
  24. Sculpting Columbia River

jeronij, It goes without saying (but I will anyway)...the update was fantastic as usual! I love the way you've used the highway lights to illuminate the rail station...they really add to the lighting of the station itself to create a great effect. Also, I'm intrigued by the tower in the next picture. Is that something based on a real life landmark? Also, did it come from the STEX? I like the TOC you are designing. Pretty good for not having any prior experience. Have you considered creating a link that goes to a master repository of all the images you have? I don't know if its possible with storage limitations and having to do everything else you've got going...just a thought. And finally, I'd like to make a request if its possible...could you post an image of the highway exiting from underneath the hill that tower sits on? Sorry, lot of questions this time... rhino
