    This is based on my THE Greater Auckland Region v. 2 Cropped right down to just the area that Auckland City encompasses. Ideal for slower computers. The config is cropped too, so you can effectively load this region into THE Greater Auckland Region if you desire.

    Nice job! You beat me to it. I bought the game so I could get the tools, with the ultimate job of making the skytower, and you did a far better job than i could have. Well done.

    Its GREAT to hear good things about my little creation - seeing it took so long to make. Anywho, I've replaced the config.bmp, this newer one has the smaller tiles located correctly over the central city area instead of a few kilometers to the right :P

    The Greater Auckland Region. Auckland, New Zealand, Pacific Ocean. East of Australia, NOT part of. (Greater because it covers the 50 or so kilometers surrounding Auckland City.) This region has almost everything - steep mountain Ranges (Waitakere Ranges in the West, Hunua Ranges in the East), with a number of islands, and a good deal of useable land. Original maps were accurate to within 22 meters. This little doozey took about 2 months to make. [Made from NZTopoOnline maps, extracted September through November 2003, Crown Copyright Reserved] Link: www.nztopoonline.linz.govt.nz New in version 2: - lowered the land level to give a smoother transition between land and sea, - slightly altered the area where the Harbour Bridge is located in real life so that a bridge can be placed there without terraforming.
