I think everything looks more than perfect with the developing of Cities XL but there's something that is getting me more and more preoccupied. I've been looking for the screenshots and with every W2W building I see there's always and small space between the building and the limit of the lot. So, building a continous block of buildings there would be always an empty space between the buildings. Has anybody noticed this? Don't you think it would be not very realistic in european or historic areas?

I think the main thing is not the name but the proposed towers, all are awfull!!! I vote for the reconstruction of the old towers.

COOL PHOTOS!!! (SimFox lives in Fili or Kutuzovski Prospekt ) But I should say that I don't love so much Victory Day and the use that Government makes in Russia of this aniversary. It's specially interesting when you see the way authorities tolerate neo-nazi movements along the country...

Sims ONLY can go out from residential lots to roads or streets but theorically it's possible to design a city with a big use of the public transport. For that it´s necesary to have absolutely separated comercial and industrial zones from the residential zones. It's posible to communicate them by any kind of transport, but at the roads routes that connect residential and "jobs zones" are necesary "car blockers". Also new NAM can help a lot, it includes different traffic controlers and simulators that force sims to walk longer distances or to leave car in a parking.

In modds&downloads there are 2 mods to block maxis buildings to grow in different ways. About the second, I don't know what mod are you talking about...I just know mods that allow you to plop both maxis and custom bat's, for example gizmocity's Buildings Ploppable Mod or supercheats mod.

I don't know how really is it in USA, but i suppose it depends of where exactly in USA do you live, I mean it's not the same a city in Arkansas that Seattle, for example... In Spain even I (I'm 27) didn't had any problems in high school, i knew about it when i was 14...

I live in Moscow for 4 years, the main problem in this city is named, as said Silur, Yuri Luzhkov and his friend Tseretely. They don't have any kind of taste, they are destroying all the russian and soviet charm of the city, horrible tucky sculptures everywhere (Peter I monument), absurd buildings in the middle of avenues (Erevan Plaza Mall), this are just a few examples but even worse, corruption and a city goverment with the worst things of both systems (capitalism and communism) and a cheap populism. Traffic is such a big problem because city goverment is just not doing nothing to improve public transport and roads. It is necesary to build underpasses at the main crosses, metro is permanently overcrowded (Madrid with 5 millions has overpassed Moscow - 12-15 millions - in kilometres of metro), buses also, the only alternative of buses are dangerous private microbuses (mashrutka). As in the rest of the world tram is coming back and there are big efforts to promote public transport here tramways are disappearing!!! and they don't make any kind of promotion to the public transport. City is dirty, main street, Tverskaya, looks like a third world avenue, full of publicity everywhere (as the entire city), old streetlamps and cheap sidewalks. Everybody knows here there's money enough, many people even say with PRIDE (!!! ???) "did you know this is the most expensive city in the world?". I love Moscow, I've choosen to live here because I like it, this is the reason all this hurts me so much, Moskva City is not the worst thing in Moscow, but does Moscow really needs that?
