I think -- though I haven't checked, and I am making an assumption -- that this will not fly with the webmaster. Content on this site is property of the site and the creator of the content. Obviously, if that creator wanted their work elsewhere, they have the final say. While the Omnibus is being worked on, there are bound to be bugs and issues which we either can't address, or must address in such a way that it does not get resolved quickly. Right now there are only two people working on the conversion due to the fact that the complexity and time-consuming nature of the conversion would take much longer if multiple people worked on it and needed help, had questions, problems et cetera. We do have backups of the Omnibus -- old backups and previous versions. Our main concern right now is the issues that exist with the software we're using. Obviously dirk is consulting with the software developer to fix these problems so we can all live happy with a full and well-featured Omnibus. We will soon be creating a help article and thread dedicated to the new Omnibus and how you can contribute. For now, we are in the early stages and still have a lot of work to do. At my level of income I will have to spend about an eighth of what i'm going to earn this summer on gas. If you ask me it's a little suspicious that they keep hiking up the gas prices..

To begin, create a PNG image with a size of 768 pixels wide, by 600 pixels tall, using Paint.net, Microsoft Paint or your favorite image editing program. If you already have an image, resize it to the above stated dimensions. This is the optimal size you'll want for your new graphic.. if your image is too small, it will begin to repeat and if it is too large it will end up being cut off. Give the file this name: file00000002.png To insert the picture into your mod, open up Ilives Reader, which can be found on the Modds section of Simtropolis, and open the Intro.dat in your simcity4 disk 2. Press Fill the List button to the right. Notice the PNG already in the file, this is a default PNG and will not be used. Now that you are in the .dat file, copy the two MAD files and create a new, blank .dat file. Paste the two MAD files into the new .dat. Now, right click in the open white area below your two MAD files, and find "Insert File and Compress". Find your PNG file, and open it. It is now in the .dat file. Save your file as whatever you like, and move it to your plugins folder. When you enter the game, you will now have a loading screen that is custom, and even more fun to wait for your game to start. Here is an example: (Click for full resolution) Note: Not an actual mod. And you should now have a new, custom loading image! We're working on overhauling all of the links in the stickied threads, but our main priority is getting the Omnibus up and running. Once that is complete there should be more time to go around the site and update any links necessary. Are there any links in particular that are broken that you just can't seem to find? I fixed the videos. They should play now. We're looking for the gmax model that was made in this video series. Has anyone downloaded it before and would be willing to share it with us? We would really appreciate it! Thanks! :|

The background position seems to be fixed, and there's also a background on the container, which can usually create problems scrolling... This could definitely be a reason for the scrolling issue we're seeing here.

I have a question of my own, now.. When I right click in a viewport, the context menu will often disappear and only show what's highlighted for a split second. I can usually solve it by restarting 3ds but it will usually come back after about 10 minutes (or right away). I wonder if this is some kind of driver/graphics driver issue? I'm not sure. Wondering if anyone else has had this problem. 3ds max 2011, 64-bit.
