I have a subway, and a monorail, and neither of which ever have trains running on them.. (?!), any idea what's wrong? It goes all the way round my city, and straight through the middle of the industry sector.... I have a station pretty much right next to the R & I, and one near the C... I must have around 6 stations. Why aren't they getting used?

Thank you, I will keep that in mind. I am currently rebuilding the Industry area of my city. How can I lower commute time? Some buildings are being abandoned due to it. I now have 20K residents.

You can change that with the NAM? I've got the NAM, and I only thought it give me some new roads to play with. xD Yeah, I started at low density, with streets, and moved up to high; with roads; the traffic is still atrocious. I normally lay out my city as the following: ] I I C R C R [ ] I I C R C R [ ] I I C R C R [ ] I I C R C R [ I = Industry. C = Commerce R = Residents.

I've got a lot of traffic, but I've left it too long to work on.. Got any transportation tips? 'Education, Fire, Police' kind of tips? I spend 3000 a year on Education alone; and around 1000 on safety. Are lots of small stations cheaper? Or should I have bigger ones? What about funding? I only have around 7000 residents, how can I get this up? the whole city is full of residental areas, some of the building haven't got jobs, and It's all high density... How can I get more people in my city?

Next time I start up the game, I'll post some screenies.. I kind of built the system AROUND my city, as I left it too late to be very efficent with the layout. They stations are connected. There are no bus stops near the stations. I'm not sure if the stations are near the R/C/I areas.. they're pretty much in random posistions.. I will have a play with it, though.

I have a medium sized city-- 20K residents, I believe.. but my traffic is atrocious. I have lots of roads, avenues, streets, highways, et cetera.. but the traffic is just as bad. All ordinaces are enabled. None of my sims seem to want to use the subway/elevated rail stations I had built (usage=0%) I have NAM installed, and that's it. Any tips?

I'd love it if they developed the 'U DRIVE IT' further. So you could drive around the city, inside of the car, just like you would in a racing game, for example. Or 'FREE WALK' where you can walk around your city, and REALLY appreciate those huge skyscrapers! Not as advanced as GTA, mind you; but I want the U DRIVE IT, to be much better than it is currently. *drives through a house, and through people, with no problems* Also, perhaps some more 'USER CAUSED' news flashes? If I crash into a tree, it could say something like: "Major delays on the eastbound route, some smartass crashed into a tree'.
