About It's finally here! SCAG Cargo Lots by ShadeSlayer (SCAG-CLSS) is a series of lots aimed to enhance the cargo aspect of SimCity Airports. There is a large update for this pack planned for April 2010. While game crashes are unlikely, we are going to remove that possibility and update dependencies. Thanks. SCAG-CLSS are purely eyecandy, and are not functional. Included with this package are the following: The plane/building lots; Some cargo props created by various members of SCAG (noted below); A readme file; A cleanitol dependency checker; and Some pictures to make it look pretty. All of this is contained in a .zip file. There is no EXE installer as to maintain cross-compatability between different Operating Systems. Installation Instructions Unzip (extract) the .ZIP file into your "My Documents/SimCity 4/Plugins" folder. Dependencies Sorry for the huge amount of dependencies, but I created this under the assumption that most users downloading this would already have airports, and thus, have about half of the dependencies already. Credits/Thanks This package was created by myself, with assistance with some fellow team members in the area of prop making, namely: joelyboy911: Cargo Loaders cameron1991: LD3 containers RustyXL: LD3 carts AC Team: for creating the plane models Also thanks to the SCAG team. Without them, this probably wouldn't have been as face-smashingly awesome. Presenting the SCAG Airport Road Improvement Project. SCAG-ARIP is a series of lots meant to improve upon the current selection of lots in SC4. This set includes fifty various airport road lots. This set is primarily made of diagonal lots, connections to vehicle hold back lines, and support for Left-Hand-Drive users. There are placement helpers on the lots to assist users in placing them. This set was made in a coalition project with the AC Team, and thus, will work with the PLT Airport Roads and AC Team base textures. Dependencies: AC MEGA Textures Vol. 1 AC MEGA Props Vol. 2 PLT Airport Roads ACB-VLT Series 2 Included in this package is also a Cleanitol file, readme file, and two images of the lots. For further support or comments, please visit the SCAG Team Room or the SCAG Bugs & General Help thread. -

Presenting the SCAG Boeing 777 Lot Pack! The Boeing 777 project is an extensive project started by pilotdaryl. The Boeing 777 project includes lots and planes for twenty-eight airlines, including each of the major alliance liveries. There are four dependencies for this project to work properly: AC MEGA Textures Vol. 1 SCAG 777 Prop Pack, vol. 1 SCAG 777 Prop Pack, vol. 2 SCAG Mega Dependency Pack For further support or comments, please visit the SCAG Team Room or the SCAG Bugs & General Help thread. Please note: The lots include an extended jetway that is perfectly sized to either go through a terminal or overhang the lot for an extra tile between the terminal and plane. This option is to make this package compatible with the AR project and SCAG-ARIP.- 8 Comments

If all goes to plan, then it should see an upload by Sunday. In terms of the lot itself, it's just custom made. Nothing special.

They're the default SC4 bus.

Smaller airports don't use the full on taxiway system to get airports around, and since this is a smaller airport, it works pretty well. Also, you will see the full airport when it's done, but I'm still waiting on a few things, so that may be a bit. quote> Actually, technically he is right, they are not taxiways, but part of the ramp. Almost always a taxiway will be used for connecting parts of the airfield, and there it is only for access to the gates. Also, if you do want to call it a taxiway, you need edge boundaries for the taxiways, something that is not there. Hence, Korot is right, it is still considered ramp as displayed in the image. Here is an example of a taxiway surrounded totally by concrete. Notice the dashed boundaries denoting the taxiway edges. Here is an example of ramp area. Still used for circulation, there is no dashed edge boundary for the routes. The dashed line in the middle is not a boundary, it is a secondary centerline for large aircraft that cannot fit within the boundaries of the two solid lines due to large wingspan. (see how the line connects to the actual taxiway to the south). The soft white line denotes the boundary between the ramp routes and the gate areas. By veering across the white line, one risks hitting a parked aircraft.quote> And here is an airport the the same general idea I incorporated. Here as well.

The Simtropolis Airport Competition! - Showdown of the Century
ShadeSlayer replied to thepokemaniac's topic in SC4 Showcase
@Josh6: Your airport is looking great, but I suggest putting some empty lots here and there -- airports don't usually have every single gate full. -

Thanks guys. nathanthemayor: I have an addon package on the drawing board. It will include lots of much larger cargo planes (747, Beluga, Dreamlifter, etc.). I'm not sure when that will be released, as I need some larger props to load stuff on to those planes, but you can feel free to check here: https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=7970.0 for updates.

Thanks so much! I'm truly amazed. Your skills are excellent.

I'd like a map of my city, if possible. Keep the scale the same, cover the entire area. Large city tiles. Kelowna, BC Canada is the location. Here's a link to the exact google earth location. Here is what it roughly looks like on the right side of the lake:

Circuit City officially closing all U.S. stores

Look at all the cities in SC4 that'll have to be updated to take out the Circuit Cities. -
