Remember that you can use Ctrl+F to search through your current page. 2007 2008 2009 2010 2011 2012 2013 2014 2015 2016 2017 -Jasoncw Lot Editor and windows Vista I installed Windows Vista a few weeks ago and days ago I installed the BAT but didn't get to use it until now. When I tried to run the Lot Editor that comes with the BAT it took long to load and then a message appeared saying "The program stopped working" and Lot Editor closes. I've tried running it in compatibility mode, with administrative rights, disabling the visual effects and tried almost everything I can do to try to make it work, but it keeps crashing. My question is, is there any way I can use the Lot Editor with Windows Vista? If there is, How?

You can get it even if you're not from the US and your email doesn't end with .edu . I tried it and it worked, it seems that all you need is a real university email address.

I guess that since 2012 is near somebody had to come up with a new apocalypse date far into the future to keep the myths going on.

You can't invade a country and then force a democracy. Saying you can do it means you don't understand at all how a democracy works. A democracy is not built on a constitution, free elections or State based on division of powers. It is built on the will of people and democratic values, which means it is part of the culture of people. Attempting to force a democracy on Somalia would involve taking all the people living there and brainwash them. Considering they've been living under 'anarchy' for quite a while, they're probably too scared and focused on surviving to bother about politics. Basically, the whole idea of invading a country with the purpose of bringing order is ridiculous, it can't be done, the people have to do it themselves. Piracy is certainly a problem that has to be solved, but there have to be better, more focused and efficient solutions than simply invading that country.

I don't know why are you so paranoid about having your money in banks and having a debit card. Then again, in a country were the risk of being robbed even inside your own home is very darn real, I'd rather keep my cash in the bank and freely available through my debit card than risk having all my money stolen by some idiot who doesn't want to get a real job.

I'm not going to pay for buses and trains. In fact, I'm not paying for this game, at all. Pretty graphics, which aren't that pretty compared to other games, and curved roads doesn't cut it.

Indeed, the quake did relatively little damage, it last less than 10 seconds, also, no refinery or oild field was damaged.

A fair chunk of itcomes from Venezuela, where the money supports the regime of Hugo Chavez, who is both an evil dictator and vehemently anti-American (this is why I don't buy gas from Citgo). It funds my engineering degree aswell....

Do you know anything about fossil fuels? Emmisions from gas and other fossil fuels have chemicals that absorb the sun's heat and trap it, blanketing the earth in what is called "The Greenhouse Effect". And we are not just burning fuel. We are also spewing dozens of chemicals into the air, not just from fuel, but also from everyday things (e.g. hairspray, household cleaners, pesticides). Add the amount of chemicals we use every day, and muiltiply that by five years. And we've been doing this a lot longer than five years. I can safely say that we've had an impact on the environment. If it isn't bad, it will be. Some people will die if we don't do something. Thanks, but I don't need a teacher. I'm all for reducing the amount of nasty chemicals we throw into the atmosphere, but I have a hard time believing there will be a real impact on something as huge as climate in the long term. There are just too many variables involved in it, the scale is huge, and to top that, we don't even fully understand it. Anyways, if you're so concerned about this, I really hope you're doing everything you can to reduce your impact on the environment, because I'm going to be mad if you tell me you're waiting for everyone else to do something. Yeah, they've been publishing studies. That's what they do. What do you think they base their studies on? Hmm... science. Science can be proven; it is real. Anyway, I sugggest you actually read some of these studies. Whether humans contributed or not, none of them deny that there has been a (slight) shift in climate. You can't prove science, because science implies proven facts, if it is not proven it is not science, it's an idea, a theory at best. The climate has changed, so what? In northern countries it changes four times a year, it is called seasons, how do we know this change is not part of a bigger cycle that lasts for longer than we live? We don't because we don't have enough precise data to say it. Yes, we can study ice and all those things, but nothing beats having actual insturments measuring variables, and those have only been there for half century. The point is, we don't know enough to warrant all this screaming, fear and spending on climate change. You also apparently know nothing about the cap and trade plan. It does put taxes on energy companies, and the benefits won't come immediately. But the plan is that we'll be more energy-independent by the year 2020, and more of our energy will be produced through renewable resources (e.g. wind, solar, hydroelectricity, etc.). I would like to hear why you think the plan is a load of bunk. It will help the environment, and the economy in the long-run, and I think the Obama Administration is doing a pretty good job. I think other posters have covered this already. What do you think scientists are doing right now, just sitting around? Scientists never sit around, but people and politicians do. Thanks to them the development and construction of nuclear energy has stalled. Actually, there is a problem *gasp* with effectivly disposing of radioactive material. You can't just dump somewhere and expect it to go away. There is also a problem of transporting it to be disposed of. Often times it'll have to be carried by truck or train, sometimes through developed areas. And if there is a contamination of it, it'll be a damn mess. I do like nuclear energy, as it's cleaner than gas or oil, but I don't like it's waste. Telling people that there will be consquences is not telling them they will die, and it is not a way to make money. It is, however, a way to get people to be more environmentaly friendly. Really, what do you base your post on? Nobody likes its waste, but apparently nobody likes greenhouse gases either, so what do we do? No, don't say Solar or Wind, because those alternatives are ridicoulous (that's another thing, but I don't have enough time to discuss it) Telling people they will die has been the best way to manipulate them throught history. It is surprisingly effective. I don't think scaring people into being more environmental friendly is good, manipulating people with fear always ends bad. I basemy post on rational thought. My opinion on this is that we humans are too insignificant to cause a real disruption at global scale by just burning fuel. All this Global warming, or climate change whatever you want to call it, is just a very well prepared scheme to get your money. There's a huge load of bull***** going right now in the 'scientific community' with scientists everywhere publishing studies in favor and against. Just loook at that 'Cap and trade' thing being pushed in the Us right now, what a load of bull*****. If these people really wanted to combat emissions they would be funding construction and development of nuclear technology, while at the same time pushing for the development of electric cars. It's easier to deal with some radioactive rocks than gas. So, basically, all this boils down to the money. Saving the environment doesn't make you money, but telling people they will die if they don't do something, ohhh, that makes a lot of money.

I've used the Windows 7 Beta since it was released. Switched to the RC as soon as it was out. I'm very pleased with it, it definitely feels faster, looks prettier. Oh, and the new folder explorer and libraries are a bless from heaven, I wonder what took them so long to come up with something like that. I'm definitely getting Windows 7 when it is released.

It will fail, I'm sure of that. The fact that it is designed to get you into the internet as fast as possible may sound fun at first, but I'm sure that once it is released it'll shown it's dark side of incompatibilities and other nasty things. Besides, everyday I trust Google less, heck, at least Microsoft is after your money, but these Google guys are looking for something worse: your privacy.

Ah, but there's a tiny little issue with this drug. It suppresses your immunologic system. However, it would be awesome if someone came up with a viable pill to prolong life before I die, life is so much awesome.

After this, I'm totally sold on the game. I will be keeping those $50 bucks hidden somewhere until this is released =D Thanks dirk.

I don't get why the West countries are getting so sensitive about this, it has been the same story for decades, and it has been proven that no matter what the hell world leaders say, these guys will keep nuking each other until either ceases to exist. It's a conflict without any solution but completely destroying one side, in fact, West countries shouldn't care about this, World wars usually begin when an aggresive situation begins and everyone starts taking a side (Although I doubt this conflict would spark any major war)

That is the way to go![/sarcasm] There are plenty of solutions offered, but the private sector does not like them because it reduces their profit. They can't be billionaires and don't want to be millionaires. The drive is not for us to lives in caves and hunt with spears, the idea is to make us operate under more sustainable circumstances and ensure that our progeny are not left with a disastrous mess impossible to repair.quote> Like what? And don't forget new RAM, these run only on DDR3. Oh, and mobos are exepected to be around $300 at launch, not exactly cheap. I'm still happy with the Centrino laptop I bought recently, nobody needs a quad core, unless you want to render a lot of BATs fast =)
