  1. It gets on my wick ..

What gets on my wick... AHA! Rap music and pretty much today's music in general (I'm sorry if that offended anyone. It's just my taste). If the 80's was considered the fashion disaster, this time around, I believe, is the music disaster. There are, however, a few good new songs out there (emphasis on the word "few"). ... Yes, I'm a teenager who likes old music. Is that a bad thing?... I didn't think so.
  2. I don't remember commenting here before. Well you certainly got my attention with the residential development on the hills. I thought it couldn't be done! Nice touch with the observatories too.
  3. Jargeah

Man you really are addicted to this airport thing and I can see why. That's a cool-looking terminal connector thing you got there (the one that passes over the avenue). And to think you're not yet finished with developing the airport. Amazing!
  4. Auburn Valley

After showing these pics you have acquired the bragging rights for realism. Houses, houses, houses. You don't seem to ran out of good houses, do you? Not to mention a good collection of shopping centers too.
  5. Puerto Joya

Yeah look at that tiny ol' lady lol! The president sure is having a lot of fun seeing the new airport. Realistic! Absolutely realistic. That pic with the JAL plane taking off is a masterpiece! We have NAIA, Davao, Mactan, and now Puerto Joya Int'l.
  6. Maxis References

Keep them discoveries coming! Here's some Maxis references from SimCity 3000. I knew about this for a long time now but since this thread is up again... Notice the buildings in the boxes: Chicago New York I don't know the real names of the buildings but they have their SC3K counterparts as Kate Foundation and Corporate Ground Zero Plaza, respectively.
  7. What Music are you listening to right now?

Carlos Santana (Chad Kroeger as vocalist) - Into the Night
  8. Toronto VS. New York

Toronto has ummm let me think ummmmmmm lets see.......nothing quote> Lol! C'mon, I admit that New York wins over Toronto hands down but the latter isn't that bad. It does have the CN Tower. Anyway, as I said, NYC has my vote. Toronto is great with all the glassy buildings but what I like about New York is that you got, in great numbers, modern glass facade buildings right next to old but well-maintained art deco buildings. I'm a fan of old and new architectural styles and New York happens to cater to both.
  9. Continous Cities

    Tel Aviv
  10. EYECANDY

And I though people gave up on the whole panorama idea. It just goes to show that it's worth all the effort to link big images like that. By the way, what did you do to the Bank of China Tower? It looks better than before.
  11. Show us your Bridges

Wow. I've never seen some of the bridges you guys just presented. Nice work. Anyway, I got a few pics.
  12. Auburn Valley

Delightful! I don't know what kind of magic you're using in those suburbs but they're always nice and they don't seem to ever get old. Those pics with the railway running through the residential are especially eye-catching (the area is well made). That dealership sure has a lot of cars for sale. I wouldn't be surprised if car jacking was rampant in the area, lol!
  13. Introduce Yourself Here!

Hi and welcome to Simtropolis, Marc. Ahh, I see you're a casual SC4 player. Either way, I hope you get the hang of the game again. Enjoy the site and the "new toys!"
  14. Berate one image

neongamer: Grid lines?! Are you kidding me? And where's the traffic? -7/10. Here, go crazy over this: (click for full horror)
  15. Stage6.com to shut down

Does that mean that the other "sub sites" will go with it? You know... movie6, anime6... Oh man... FMA, Zoids, Ace Combat trailers... Goodbye. I checked anime6.net and it's still there. But still, no AC trailers and good quality Mythbusters episodes. Oh well.
  16. Windsor Park

Close but no cigar. Anyway, the pic for the video looks darned real I swear (most especially the plane). Good job with that one. Yay I posted!
  17. Jargeah

IT'S ALIVE!!! Oh, oh, oh, I got the giggles! One moment while I compose myself... Ok, now that I got that out of my system; nice to see you back! I like that pic with the KLM jumbo taking off with the blur and everything. As for the other pictures, they're just as great. Awesome is the word.
  18. Swap an avatar day!(it's over!)

Yeah. It was fun being skyliner.
  19. Show us your Ghettos

Nice (I'm not sure if it's the proper term) ghettos everyone! Now those are THE ghettos. Here's some from me.
  20. Auburn Valley

Yeah well I didn't have much time to comment either so you're not alone. Neat use of those trail parks. And those trees; I can't seem to place trees and make them fit in like that. I guess you learn something new every day.
  21. Puerto Joya

The region is massive! I wish I had that patience. It's nice to see you back in full swing. PS: Thanks for including my CJ in your signature.
  22. Swap an avatar day!(it's over!)

Now people are taking sigs too!? This is getting wackier by the minute. EDIT: Oh, if you're planning on taking my sig, no problem. It would be better thought if you were "Made in the RP" as that would be more fitting.
  23. RED ALERT III

Awww, no prism tech. I still want to try the game out though. I sure hope Frank Klepacki would be allowed to do his thing. Ooh! I like the mirage tank's other ability to hide units within its energy bubble (I read it off the magazine pictures). Reminds me of the mobile gap generator. My brother sent 6 of those generator things toward his enemy (human) and only one of them contained an attack force. By the time his opponent found the real deal, critical base structures had already been taken out. By the way, thanks for at least trying to answer my questions, El Burro.
  24. What kind of cellphone do you have?

Whoa! People here are loaded! I don't got no fancy cellphone. A Nokia 6020.
  25. Introduce Yourself Here!

And I thought the flow of new members stagnated. Welcome to Simtropolis everyone, to both newcomers and lurkers. Please enjoy your stay. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the rest of the flight. And in the event of a water landing, your life vests are located underneath your seat... yada, yada, yada, and all that jazz.
