If you don't like the pollution generated by these industries, you can always have them develop in a separate region tile. I'm not sure if this will solve your problem though. All I know is that it's best to give your Sims what they want.

Finally found my CDs! That took long enough. I just started getting back to playing this game but with a lot less custom content in it than before. Maxis buildings once again dominate my cities. This whole "I can't play SC4 coz I can't find mah CD's" really made me miss the way I played the game a long time ago (back when my game had no custom buildings). I don't really approve of the Empire being made up of a bunch of anime stuff but I think the faction itself is pretty interesting. You can mess with people's heads with the Empire. Oh, and if you guys haven't seen it yet, there's this video of a beta game lasting 40 minutes! The heck right? The battle is between the Allies and the Empire. I won't say who won but I can tell you that you'll know a lot of things about the Allies after watching that video. The only complication is that you'll have to download the video to see it.

I never thought that I'd miss out on this site for long periods like these (5-7 days). This whole college thing is driving a big wedge in my free time so you won't be seeing much of me (Saturday classes!? I call foul!). Because of this, CJ updating is out of the question. I'll still visit of course, just not as frequent. Maybe on Sundays.

My friends who work in call centers aren't gonna like that. I think they can only do that if they own the internet, which of course they don't.

I guess I'll say MegaTokyo. Although copies could be found in stores, I read it on the website (it's a webcomic). I know it's made in the west and not in Japan but that doesn't change the fact that it's a fun and hilarious manga. Fred Gallagher's art may be sketchy but that was intentional. It adds to that comic and light-hearted atmosphere that this manga excels at. Anyway, the story is mainly about Piro (protagonist, anime and dating sim fanatic), his friend Largo (shooting game addict and leet-speaker), and their adventures in Tokyo. They came from the United States but it turns out that life in Tokyo wasn't exactly the gamer/otaku heaven they were looking for--it was that and so much more (by so much more I mean Mortal Combat Visas, rent-a-zillas, and zombies). The Tokyo in the story is totally blown out of proportion. This is the only "real" manga I've read so far. I'm a casual reader. With that being said, this manga/webcomic, I personally think, will appeal to first-time manga readers and hardcore fans alike. Another bonus is that it's a webcomic so it's free. I guess I need not say more except: "Junpei rocks!"

Oh what the heck... Baguio city (Philippines), from my observation, is 30% urban and park area and 70% suburb. Don't be surprised to see houses that aren't on flat land, lol. I already showed this in some other thread (a picture of the burbs through my brother's bedroom window). The the next two pictures were taken by my friend when he borrowed my camera. The first is a part of Baguio taken from our college on a rainy day and the second is picture he took of his friends who were overlooking a scenic part of town. I'll show more of our burbs later when I have time to go out (like during school which is in a few days).

The first thing I noticed on this page was the funky neon lights on those industrial buildings. Whoever thought of that was crazy but creative. Your industrial areas just got better thanks to him/her. Yeah, the night mod sure did the trick. You're gonna have a lot of fun with that. I definitely had fun with it.

Well that sure took longer than I expected. Stupid internet company, mumble, mumble... Aheheheanyway, it's update time. Yeesh. I'll just describe the town plain out. Oh and this will be a one-time update for this city because the town is tiny compared to Frack (which was huge). Chedo is a contemplatively-themed orientally-sided city located in a save folder in My Documents. With it being contemplative and all, you will observe people living in simplicity. Instead of malls and corporate skyscrapers run by materialistic people, these folks have monasteries, temples, and tea houses. Uber advanced technology is unheard of in Chedo with it's people believing that the higher power will provide for all their needs. Not all townsfolk believe in the same higher power for their salvation and despite this, they still respect each other. You might see houses of worship dedicated to Jesus, the Jewish God, Allah, Buddha, and Tom Cruise, all of which could be found in Chedo. Let's get on with the pictures. A typical morning in town. You mean a modification that can do all that you said? I don't think there is such (none that I know of at least). The closest thing you could do is download BATs and other objects related to the era of your interest and use those to make a city.

Whew! I've been away for a few weeks because the internet company serving us decided to do some revamping with their system. Well I'm back now.

Ask? Nah. The guys at the cafe were too busy kicking each other's butt in some MMORPG to notice me. That's a sweet-looking highway. It seems to twist and turn in such a way that it doesn't bother the development nearby (nice wall-to-wall BATs, BTW). The traffic adds a lot to the images too, especially the trucks.

Hmmm... I'm not quite contented with the previous update so this will serve as a follow-up. I personally think that these next shots are better but I'll leave that to you to decide. Bon Jovi (again) - Always

Oh so this is what has been going on. Now that's what I call exposure, lol. I'll just give my say on this before going back on-topic (that's my room after all). Yeah I've seen my share of foreign movies and read about it in books and magazines and they all refer to it as toilet paper. Heck, even the brand we get is titled Joy Bathroom Tissue. Maybe that's why you guys associate tissue paper rolls with the bathroom and only the bathroom. But with me and my brother having noses that are very sensitive to dust (and dust is everywhere, they're just hard to spot), that box of Kleenex won't be enough. Besides, what's more expensive, getting 2 boxes of Kleenex or a roll of TP that can do the job of 3 of those boxes? Obviously, I'll go for the TP. It's practical and cheap. Simple logic people. And don't worry, I'm not offended at all. I just find it weird that something that in my opinion is normal gets so much attention like that. I guess it's all down to our cultural differences where using something in a different manner is normal here but unheard of in other parts of the world. Ok, we can go back on-topic now.
