  1. Name That Airline!

This is simple. I will come up with an airline name but will not tell you. I will give you between 3 and 10 hints. The goal is to name that airline (correctly). Anyone can answer. If you get it right., than you get to think of the next airline. Please apply to be a judge, by being a judge you can just say weather you got it right or not. I'll start you off with any easy one. Judges: Simsmart Open Open Airlines Named: Singapore Aeromexico __________________________________ Okey, so here are my hints: I was the launch customer of the A380. I leased the Concorde. I am based in Asia. Who am I?
  2. Complains-alot game!

the idea of this thread is to complain about anything*! the person above you, simcity societies, sim city creator, or even the taste of cat food. I figured that since everyone loves to complain that this would be a fun game. No disses or personal remarks, keep to the forum rules. Oh and... have a nice horrible day! I'll start. Wikipedia doesn't have an article about me!
  3. NAM: rail on road

Have you also tried doing: crtl-x and entering "DrawPaths"?
  4. What are you reading?

I'm reading Fahrenheit 451, it's good. Not my favorite though. Very, very hard to follow.
  5. It has been posted in the Modding: Transit networks forum. Apparently not many people go there. In addition, you can find the BETA download of STR somewhere in the 3RR.
  6. I would suggest using GIMP. It does all the "major" stuff you expect from Photoshop.
  7. Show us your airport!

They're from tabi. Although right now the URL escapes me. And, yes, the avenues represent where the taxiways will go.
  8. Show us your airport!

Anyone else getting the page flip bug?
  9. Connecting cities

You could always use a ferry system, as well as ports for garbage and cargo. I don't believe power cables need islands.
  10. Horse Feathers Bar and Grill

@Kendiecasttsoi: Most of what was uploaded now has been on the LEX for weeks, maybe a month or two. (not this one though)
  11. Red Robin Restaurant

@mrbisonm: Go to SC4D, download times are shorter.
  12. What does it make you think of?

    Vanila
  13. Power Plants

I normally go with gas for suburban cities, coal for dirty industrial, and have never actually ventured to try oil. You should really try peg's geothermal power plant.
  14. Tropico 3!

I've recently installed Tropico to see how different political approaches (Snowball vs. Napoleon) would turn out.
  15. Show us your airport!

  16. The evolution of The Little Red Wagon

They've gone TOO far this time.
  17. Pets!

Here's another cat-related joke type thing: RULE 1 Fully extended claws and completely bared fangs are signs that playtime is over. RULE 2 You hiss at me once more and I'll get the water pistol. RULE 3 Don't you dare spray. It is not the same thing as the water pistol. RULE 4 More catnip? The neighbours already think we're running a grow-op. RULE 5 So what if the cat next door has a carpeted play station? If he runs up the telephone pole and onto the power lines, are you going to follow him? RULE 6 You got yourself up there; you get yourself down. No, the fire department said next time they'd bill us. RULE 7 Okay, so the ball tied to the doorknob is a stupid game. Let's tie it to the car bumper of that lady who delivers our mail instead. RULE 8 No, I will not get you another canary. That was cruel. RULE 9 No sneak attacks. What are you, Javanese? RULE 10 It's called "fetch." Dogs love this game. Now can I rest for a while? Please? From a book called "The Cat Rules", which I would HIGHLY reccomend it to anyone who loves cats. EDIT: Am I actualy allowed to post that, seeing as it's published material?
  18. I think it's seven tiles that sims can walk (56 Meters ). I also think that it can be tweaked in the simcity1.dat
  19. Canada's Forests Now Add To Climate Woes

I wouldn't say that, although it is true that the human race will someday go extinct... Better start on that bunker!
  20. Applied Dudism

Originally posted by: s.i.X I bellyfeel oldspeak doubleplusgood.quote>I love that book! For a book report on 1984 I tried to write the whole thing in oldspeak, couldn't be done. Anyways, looking at LivingInSim's post: One thing I noticed was that depending on who you talk to, some people may interpert your use of the word differently. Mind you, the same goes for old english vs. new english.
  21. Don't have that problem, although I have two of everything in the menu. Is it completely missing from the slider?
  22. New Years Eve/Day

    2009 in eastern North America!
  23. Residential Demand at Zero

The search feature is there for a reason. I would suggest downloading RippleJet's Census Repository Facility from the LEX, the lot will give you your demand caps, how many sims CAN live in your city. Could you take a picture of the CO demand without any mods? Using that it could be judged whether you simply do not have enough jobs. Further more, I would advise against using "radical" demand ordinances in SimCity, as they will mess up your workforce/open jobs balance, causing buildings to abandon, as well as odding stuff up. As a side note, your city looks good.
  24. The Internets are broken

I'm sure that the military has some kind of backup plan... At least to stop the country from being attacked.
