My Cities: Skylines CJ Scrapbook -- The Night Cometh...
Sandis_van_Great replied to BLANKBLANK's topic in Cities: Skylines City Journals
Not only i liked your pics, but i really liked your downtown in the distance. I like it that its just few tall buildings rather than overgrown with them. Looks much nicer- 324 Replies

Is this only in larger cities?, if so it might be the games end because the game automatically prevents you from going at speeds higher than 2x if your city reaches a certain size (probably for simulation/optimization purposes), its mentioned in this mod: http://steamcommunit...s/?id=412292157 Yeah its only when my city grows quite big.

I don't know if mine could be called modern but its decent i guess w7 64bit 8gb ram i7 4core 2.20ghz Nvidia GeForce GT555M 3D 3G It ruins quite alright. I do experience long loading time but its because i am using a lot of mods. And once city loads it does kinda lag until ive gone over all the areas of my city, after that it runs quite smoothly ,although i cant really speed up the game anymore.

Where are the MODS?
Sandis_van_Great replied to Rappit's topic in Cities: Skylines Modding - Open Discussion
Cause 99% of all mods and buildings are on Steam workshop not here. -
I was just coming here to post the same thing. I made a screenshot I guess its "super hard" coding as its still not implemented.

SimCity 2013 yesterday's news?
Sandis_van_Great replied to xordevoreaux's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
SC2013 was never even a thing. It was doomed before even it was released, tho many didn't see that. Since Simtropolis sold themself to EA advertisement, SC2013 was all over the main page. I don't think Skylines is ever gonna be as popular as SC4 board here, only cause everything is happening trough steam. Workshop and discussion board there is more than active. -
Im just here to remind to add Cities Skylines category when you hover your mouse over the ST/Exchange button. Thank you

Simtropolis Q&A about Cities: Skylines with Paradox Interactive
Sandis_van_Great replied to Dirktator's topic in Cities: Skylines General Discussion
One thing im not liking already is that you MUST have a road and train connection with the edge of the map, which is fine as long as you dont want to play a map which is an island, and im a big fan of islands. But otherwise i am really looking forward this game and it seems like its gonna be a really good one. BUT to be honest, i still dont think its gonna overcome SC4. at least not yet.- 91 Replies

90% of negative reviews on steam is from people who barely played the game for 30 min and was hopping for something it never was offering. Seriously

I think CXXL could be a good starting point for them to make it better. Now that biggest flaw has been fixed they can actually start working on adding more to the game. I personally dont think its THAT expensive. Especially looking at games like SimCity. And besides if you already had older version you get 50% discount. SInce i live in Norway for me it costed same as one drink at club . I have it and im satisfied. Though im still looking forward to Cities Skylines.

Hey hey So i have a small question. What creates the in game fog? Is it just random?

SimCity Purists Are Understandably Upset About The Newest SimCity
Sandis_van_Great commented on Haljackey's article in News
I mean really, does this still surprises you? I think this pay thing is becoming the latest trend. Look at FB games and most app games this style. And i mean its EA.
