Everyone, Update #11 will come on Monday June25th, 2007 and I will be showing A new and revamped Azalea District downtown and other areas including city of Baker and North Baker with the border crossing. Everyone, Update#10 is finally here. I will be showing you how I build a town / city and other pictures too. Replies will come in the next update. Now for the pictures: North Dakota Valley Region Welcome sign Town of Merna, North Dakota at night Merna during the daytime Merna exit on Interstate 30 1/2 mile from the town The following are pictures of me building a new town calles Madison Forest located on the Canadian side of the border. First, I build the main road....... then I build streets........ then I do the industrial area with trash and rail and power with water. I also add fire, police, library, and schools and train stations if needed. Overview of the whole town The town grows. So there you have it; That is how I typically build my towns and cities. Kenosha, Wisconsin has a simmular thing using old PCC cars bought from Toronto Transit in Toronto Canada back in the year 2000 and they are now owned and operated by Kenosha Area Transit. More information is on Wikipedia and search under "Kenosha". Plus they are only 25 cents to ride a loop of about 1 mile in downtown Kenosha connecting Metra Station (Former Chicago Regional Transit train) to Lake Michigan and rest of downtown.

The white farm fields are actually BSC seasonal farms and yes, they are kinda wierd compared to Maxis standard farms. Now for the Pictures: Stop light assembly common in Manitoba Canada and used in this region (CJ). Manitoba Welcome sign seen at ALL international border crossings and provincial borders. Common signage in North Dakota and found commonly in the region. This is an example. County Highway sign found in North Dakota and the region. Region of Baker is located in Pembina County, ND. Common welcome signage in my home state of Wisconsin (one of two. The other welcome sign is a big / huge wood cut out of the state simular to the Manitoba welcome sign but instead of blue, it is real wood and painted rustic wood brown. I will post an example later. This is on US Hwy 14 in Walworth County which is one county due west of my home county of Kenosha, Wisconsin.) Not related to this cj or the region and I thought I would share this with all of you.
