WOW - very beautiful desert you got there! (those reds look amazing especially in the shadow areas) the pines look great , although i think you might need a little scrub brush or tumbleweeds to thicken it up a bit here and there...but thats just me.... quick question though - did you do anything special (tips or tricks) to get those nice plateaus, or just alot of patience and alot of coffee? (Props to cycledogg as well) Dr_No

The Empire of Chaumont - 'Delightfully Oppressive'
Dr_No replied to jarnomiedema's topic in SC4 City Journals
Absolutly positively amazing!!! I'm still terra forming my city (Williams Port-home of hot rods and UFO's (hows that for a teaser???)) and all I have to say to you (and everybody else in the city journals) SHEEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSSSHHHHH!!! way to set the bar for the rest of us!!!!!!!!!! Just goofying, I think its cool because the competive part of me wants my city to be ten times better ... nothing like a little healthy competition. But in all honesty I am in awe everytime I check out the journals... FANTASTIC WORK! Dr_No -
Hey I just thought I would introduce myself , I am 41 years old and got into simcity at version1, I enjoy the strategy games like simcity, civilization, and age of empires (although I dont like the time limits on the latter two) as well as some of the first person shooters. Right now I am a american currently working in tokyo. I am a computer artist who specializes in SFX color/ lighting. . Mostly movies, comercials and sometimes games. Originally I am from Los angeles (so I surf) but i also like photography and sketching. so hopefully once I figure out the in's and outs of sim4, (just opened the box) I will be able add some of my own downloads as well as with what I do for a living help out with questions on overall look of things.... this is a very cool forum!!! And I have a great time readying the city journals, they ALL look fantastic as well as reading the stories that go with them. (katies mountain retreat----what did happen at the reading of the will?) Very soon I hope to have my city journal posted. great to be here Dr. No
