So basically I’ve been trying to play cities XL 2011 since Wednesday evening. Every time I lunch the game go to the planet and pick out a city (blank or occupied) it'll load up half way then bam it crashes? Has anyone had this problem and figured out a solution? For some reason the tutorials work fine?

Never imported a single thing. But it doesn't matter now i can finally play the game.

Id Listen to these guys. I live in London 2 hours south of Toronto. I have never seen a single copy of Cities XL in this city. The download is easier anyways.

I performed a disc defrag and it kinda of helped the problem. Now it's just the cities that are already built into the game that won't load resulting in crashing. I guess ill have to wait for an update.

I've uninstalled Cities XL 2009 to see maybe that could of been a problem, but no luck so far .

First my computer is running an intel 930 core i7 at 4.0 ghz 12 gbs of ddr 3 ram at 1800 mghz 4.5 tb of HDD 120 gb of ssd 2 gtx 470's in sli im sure my computer can handle Cities XL thank you very much. Ive to set everything to as low as they can be set still won't work. Yes I do have cities xl 2009 worked fine. No i did not import anything it was just a fresh install and it hasn't worked since.

See i tried all that still nothing. It crashes every time! Yes i did say the tutorial worked without a problem. I don't know why the tutorial would work but the game it self wouldn't?

They sent you an email with your CD Key. I thought the same thing when i bought the limited edition last year and haven't had to re install it for a while. I look at the manual and theirs just a blank box? Then I remembered that they emailed all the pre-ordered limited edition copies there keys instead of writing them on there mauls. Try going through your email and look for Monte Cristo or Cities XL. Best of Luck!

I hope this is worth it, or i'm going to be really angry with this game!

Try the demo, see if you like it and buy it like the rest of the community has. Not trying to sound like a d*ck but if we all pirated it i don't think there would be a Cities XL 2011 coming.

So i just built a new build and fromated my harddrive. I install Cities XL and the patch. The game loads up and everything ,then I click play solo and it brings up the regions selection for a secound then crashes? I try tourtorial , It starts up for a secound then crashes? Any ideas? To reactivate your account just go log into the cities XL website. It may say incorrect but then do it again and your account starts working and you can start playing Cities XL.

I've ran these cards in SLI with cites XL before formatting my HDD and reinstalling it. I believe cat260 is have the same problem?

Alot of data and they all say error. Yes i can't load it without the patch. Yes i do have C++ 2008.

All my parts over qualifies the system requirements, so it can't be that?

Lol no kidding. I did update all my drivers so i could bench mark and run Metro 2033. I tried running as admin nothing. I downed everything to low, still same problem?

Is there a mod that unlocks the limited edition features for the people who bought the limited edition?

That's basically all we have to work with for getting rid of pollution . Maybe there will be pollution scrubbers in Cities XL 2011? We can always hope?
