I am 27, and have played SimCity since the original on the Amiga 500/2000. I have played every version of SimCity, plus SimEarth, and The Sims Deluxe Edition. I bought my first PC (486) specifically to play SC2K, and bought my current machine (P4) almost a year ago in anticipation of SC4. Based on the number of others who have posted that they've done this sort of thing too, I think the computer industry owes a debt of gratitude to Maxis! I am amazed I have managed without Simtropolis until a few weeks ago. Up until then I was only vaguely aware of its existence. OK, I admit, my excitement about Rush Hour was the primary influence in my becoming a member. Now I'm finding I'm checking several times a day. It's been very educational, and a lot of fun. Oh yeah, when I'm not playing SC4, or eating, or sleeping, I'm a GIS (Geographic Information Systems) Coordinator for a certain county government in Ontario, Canada. I often like to think of the county's GIS as my own little real life SimCity. The similarities are quite striking sometimes.
