  2. NDEX ITS St Williams Park Station

Glad to see something like this. Nice work Dan!
  3. Why is the website so slow??

    There ARE ads, dude!
  4. Simtropols dying?

Simtropolis is very much alive...hmmm, probably time to donate again! Castiron.....There should be multiple fansites, not just one big conglomeration, in my opinion. As for other English speaking fansites, the only one (that I know of) besides Simtrop that has a decent exchange is SC4devotion. SC4devotion also tags each download with *LEX Exclusive* if it wasn't uploaded elsewhere, so that helps.
  5. All Your Base

I'm rating a 10 just to balance at all of the jerks with no sense of humor ;)
  6. DarkEldar Bus Stop

A day shot would be nice...I'm too lazy to download it to see what it looks like.

I'm not so sure about the safe part because danger is more interesting, but it works.

Tests have been made in labs to show how much global warming we can expect with different levels of increased greenhouse gases, but I have no idea on actual figures of this. So, there is proof. Trust me, it's very real and humans are responsible for it.quote> So if we cut down all the evergreens, I figure we should be alright. Anyway, numbers pulled out of the air aren't proof....please cite your source(s).
  13. New CCTV Building-China

Wow...thanks for those construction shots. Read about in WIRED a few years back...quite a striking structure.
  14. Moscow Rising

Hmmm...nice concept. For ze Motherland!! Haha
  15. What Car?

1989 Toyota Camry...a four door four banger with a manual tranny. It's falling apart as we speak. It's also suffered seven attempted break-ins...only two were successful. Needless to say, both locks are busted right now, so I just leave it unlocked. I was looking at getting a used Cadillac CTS, Lincoln LS or Lincoln Zephyr (aka MKZ), but apparently it's difficult for me to get a decent APR on my own, with many thanks to my age, so I'll just have to wait awhile. And my two cents on "American" cars: I'm glad to see more worthy cars coming from the American manufacturers. The Cadillac CTS has been around for a few years, but the more recent Ford Fusion/Mercury Milan/Lincoln MKZ (sibling cars) has really impressed me with the looks and the reliability ratings from Consumer Reports. Also, the Ford Five Hundred is promising, but I think it needs more aggressive styling. It's a bit too bland. I rented a Pontiac G6 once and that was a blast to drive, but I'm not a big fan of the styling. I'm hoping Pontiac's exterior designers will think outside the box more in the future. On another note, I'm eager to see how the new Mitsubishi Lancer will turn out. Word is that it will actually look more like the Evo version rather than an utterly ugly piece of crap. And that would be awesome!
  16. Mexico and United States

Favre - Several car models sold in the USA are manufactured in Mexico. For example, Lincoln produced the Zephyr (now the MKZ) there. Consumer Reports and other sites have more info on this. Though in this context "Less economically developed countries" includes countries that are having their industrial revolutions now and have started to develop recently, so what exactly is an LEDC is now very disputable. Countries such as China and South Korea fall into their own category called "Newly Industrialised Countries". quote> That is a VERY general map, don't take it too seriously. Note that it also marks the UAE and Singapore as "LEDC."
  17. Will China collapse soon?

Hmm. Time to buy Chinese stocks. Or not.

  19. Tokyo anyone?

Never been there, but I love the skyline at night. All those blinking red lights...it's very imposing and makes me feel quite small. Hehe...

Then, the freeway system was still young, and the addition of a monorail could've slowed the dependence on freeways. Additionally, if the monorail proved to be an efficient system, they would've expanded it, modernized it, futurized it...LA would've had a monorail. The city would've looked drastically different too. quote> Granted, you wouldn't have the exact same traffic problems on the freeways. What I was trying to say was that the freeways would still be congested...the city is simply huge.

Anyway MLB teams do have players from all over the world (typically Carribean, South America, North America and Japan)...I guess that's one legit reason it's called the "World Series" even granted that most teams are in the USA.

My only complaint is the complex I live in is a joke when it comes to parking. Sad because it is brand new...oh well...
