  3. Monorail vs subway

I prefer GLR. Mainly because I like watching the trains go everywhere, plus it is now draggable, and you can put in sharp turns.

  8. 60 storey house

For those that didn't read the article, 606 people will actually live in that building. The one family....plus all their live-in staff. Originally posted by: zzsim Originally posted by: simzebu Somebody needs to donate more to charities... A nation without proper utilities in many areas, and this guy is willing to build a 60-story house, just for himself.quote> ^ Agreed, in a country where such a large amount of money could improve the lives of so many people, I am surprised to see someone willing to spend it constructing a personal skyscraper. At least he will have a good view all the slums !quote> Why is this relative to the country one lives in? Excess like this in a rich country is OK with you?
  9. LG Electronics

NICE building...yeah, the lot could use some more work, but great stuff!

  13. The Trans-Texas Corridor

1200 feet wide?!? Then I read what was all included... There are twelve different route possibilities at this point (on the website at least)...the one listed above is the 'recommended preferred alternative' ...check that here: http://ttc.keeptexasmoving.com/flash/interactive_map/interactive.htm And this is the official Trans-Texas Corridor website: http://ttc.keeptexasmoving.com/
  14. Manhunt 2 banned in UK and Ireland

Holy schnike...what's wrong with making the movements?!? Remember the original Nintendo and Duck Hunt? You pull the trigger and kill the fictional ducks! Same thing here, except you're simulating stabbing humans. Think for a second...how much different is this game from fencing?

That's not a hip-hop track, that song is in the genre called CRAP.
  16. Pop causing cancer?

    Meh. Everything causes cancer.
  17. US Debt

Hey, the US Gov't Debt may rank #1 in size in the world, but as a percentage of GDP it ranks #32. I hope this isn't what encourages the politicians to spend more... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_public_debt

  21. Drinks!

Not a fan of mixed drinks myself...when drinking I usually reach for a beer. I prefer wheat beer ala Widmer or Pyramid (especially the Pyramid Apricot Weizen). Blue Moon (Belgian White Ale) is also good. I've had several IPAs too...tastes like mold to me
  22. Sweet Iced Tea or Plain Iced Tea

I usually go sweet with lemon or raspberry. For me it usually comes from the soda fountain or a convenience store (ala Arizona, Lipton, Nestea). Occasionally, I'll go straight up....when I do that it's usually home-made.
  23. The Islamic Republic of Cot'e de Barbare M'oslemakk

I'd love to see more city pics. Nice use of Porkie's fire station in the first one!
  24. Coke or Pepsi

Both. I flip a coin in my head when I need to choose.
  25. Sprite vs. Sierra Mist vs. 7UP

If all three were available, I would go for the Sierra Mist every time.
