About this City Journal

Hi, I would like to share the region that I've developed few years back, started in 2019. It is called Grand Beacon. I will upload some videos in the Youtube and will also upload images here. The concept of each plot is individual (not acting as a whole of the region); this is to create different environment/mood/concept on each plot; you will see a residential zone developed on a plot and sits next to an industrial zone on the other side of a plot. Hence, each plot is acting independently. However, transportation/jobs will serve to the interconnecting plots (the roads of course). Train tracks will continue in every plot ( I hope) which this was the main reason I've created Grand Beacon in the first place, not just to develop one or two plots and focus on them, but to see the train tracks runs through everywhere in the region.

I have not adopted the NAM. Which I was not quite understand to integrate to the game yet and afraid to use which might crash the game or corrupt any files.

I've still a long way to go since I'd only develop the towns from the bottom left corner of the map. Each plot may takes time to build; like build as whatever I like but, with different ideas/concept. I hope you will enjoy this journey with me. Please do give your thoughts. Thanks.

Additional info updated on 7th August 2025:
At last, I have integrated NAM to my SimCity 4 gameplay. It was a smooth and accomplished upgrade to my game. Hope with this upgrade, I will be able to enhance the city creation. I have officially started using the NAM on the large plot called Centra Omega Solis (not shown on the region at the moment).

Anywise, hope that Grand Beacon can grow and weave its cities into a seamless network of prosperity, where every build whispers a story of ambition, balance, and the triumph of careful planning.

Although the name close similar to Pallet Town which is peaceful, quiet and clean, Paddleton Town is much contrary to it. Paddleton Town's vast development which spread almost the entire plot which include a small airport. The town consists the Riverside and the Inland divided by the railway line. Residentials are occupying the Riverside while the Inland comprised mix of Industrials, Commercials, some...

It's been a while.., I have this content ready but did not have the right time to publish it. I present Myrinialand. A small town with so much of joyful energy. The people of Myrinialand are known for their warmth and hospitality, creating a tight-knit community where everyone feels like family. The town features with charming local businesses, and a strong sense of community where residents participate in local events and support one another. Colorful festivals fill the streets throughout the year,...

Stockmoore was created later after the establishment of Stokeford. Stockmoore was founded by Mr Moore himself. The rise of Stokeford gave him the inspiration and incentive to develop Stockmoore and to give competition to its neighbour. Despite the hasty booming of Stockmoore, its economic is still behind Stokeford; but, it does give some healthy challenge as we can say to this twin-city relationship. Mayor Moore exemplifies dynamic leadership through his adaptive and responsive governance. His leadership...

Mazze Zappa sits below Stokeford which sits in between Stokeford & Myrinialand and facing to the bigger city of Honiahaka Peak splitted by the river. Dakarai Dalia is the mayor for Mazze Zappa.
