The rise of Stokeford gave him the inspiration and incentive to develop Stockmoore and to give competition to its neighbour. Despite the hasty booming of Stockmoore, its economic is still behind Stokeford; but, it does give some healthy challenge as we can say to this twin-city relationship.

North neighbour of Stockmoore is Paddleton Town, a more valiant and modest town.
