I'm here to say that this CJ is over. For technical problems (a new PC and not so much effort on copying files), I've got no way to carry on with this CJ. Although, I'm not sad or disappointed - it's obviously a short CJ, but it made me proud and happy for seeing how much I could do with SC4. I'm gonna show you what have been improved in St. Marie de la Mer now ! The city expasion impact caused problems which were in need to be fixed : Lack of homes, density issues, decadent areas, etc. The density next to downtown areas was a problem. People living in small houses were refusing to leave their homes to give space for big residential and shops. The government decided to - sweetly - remove those persons to another areas. Foulcaud-en-Ilê it's a district located at St. Gérome Island, basically populated by old farmers who had their old farms bought by constructors or the government. Again, here it is. The industries are arriving... This is the small St. Marie-de-la-Mer : It's as small as a village, and it holds less than 10,000 habitants, although it's the main Les Cascades city. It has a small industrial park and several farms. But in a corner building at St. Marie downtown, a meeting is happening. Les Cascades mayor decided to sell two big empty zones for a group of businessman. And also, an entire district. Now, the Industries are being built. And workers... coming !

This is Limogne, a town that once was a small village. It was soon swallowed by the suburban development that happened, and now part of the town in covered with small quiet houses, shops and cafes. Limogne has interesting empty zones ready for development. Instead of selling those areas for building companies, the Regional Council decided to do a urbanizing plan, and then sell lots. Duvaille has been a touristic center for years, because of it's pretty hills and it's old town, with a wonderful view. Ayers was a nowhere village with a dozen of people and a cow. As Limogne expanded, one of two quarters were built, but nothing really changed at all. Things started to get interesting when vacant lots for industries were sold. Then, workers came, commerce came... Thanks guys for the comments ! ^^ In spite of the urbanizing plans, some areas grew naturally. It made St. Marie mayor nd the Regional Council a bit annoyed, but they couldn't stop the development. Old farmers agreed to sell their farms for constructors to build houses and some out of town shops (for a good amount of money, yes). The new area is called La Chapelle. In this post well show you a little piece of Asia inside Les Cascades ! Le Temple ia a small neighborhood located next to the old downtown. This area, once located in a small hill by the sea, was flattened and reurbanized, intending to be a new commercial area. However, the shops didn't come and constructors didn't know what to do.
