In spite of the urbanizing plans, some areas grew naturally. It made St. Marie mayor nd the Regional Council a bit annoyed, but they couldn't stop the development.
Old farmers agreed to sell their farms for constructors to build houses and some out of town shops (for a good amount of money, yes).
The new area is called La Chapelle. Reason why : La Chapelle... de St. Antoine. In a bright sunny day.
La Chapelle is located on the east part of St. Marie, between two districts : Dubois and Monchamp.
The new area gave relief to a enormous commercial demand, that comes from the crescent buying power of the Les Cascades population and also from the tourism, that grew with the new seaport.
But an airport is being planned. Only planned.
However, the shops are still looking for a brand new area. But where ?
