Sweet! That rockslide looks really realistic! (The one on the bottom, the top one is obviously real) 

Very cool. I like the attention to detail. The road following the river and the mix of real images with images from the game is well done. Keep up the good work.

 Yeah, that blasted rockslide has caused a lot of trouble recently. I had been planning a trip to the mountains along the TN/NC border recently, and that would have been the most direct route, but, when I got to google maps, I discovered that it was still blocked. 

But, an Ice Storm prevented me from going anyway. 
Hope you enjoy your visit to the USA, remember they drive on the right. (Pointless. I'm a very proud lefty, despite living in a righty country.)

Anyway, I feel that you really did do a nice job of capturing the Appalachians in the Fall. Very beautiful place.

I know this is a year old, but I just saw it!!

I live in Asheville, and I drive by the rock slide site many times a year! This entry is so awesome and precise; it really does capture the entire feel of the mountains.

Well the rock slide was not cleared in time for my visit last year, so we travelled to Tennessee, via Brevard, the Smoky Mountain National Park and Gatlinburg. I can't quite remember, but I think we did actually come back through Asheville on the return journey... would have to check with the tour guide!
