"Green" Meddelers Put the Clamp on Water Pump
The quiet little town of Opium. Somthings wrong here, let's take a closer look...
hmmm...... lets look "under" the surface...
There we go!! No water! But why?!?
Well, its simple realy. The water tower that was built in Opium some years ago, is polluted. The fertilizer that farmer recently started using on their crops is polluting the water supply. Sure, people dont mind a little aspestes in their water supply, but the "Green" comunnity does mind, in fact, they mind ALOT. So much so that they forced the city to shut of the pipe pumping water into the tower for storage.
So, with only 1 option, (with building a treatment facility waaaaaay out of the question, a new water tower must be built, out of the polluted soil area. But were? Well this water pollution chart given to the city concil by those "green" folks helps alot.
Wow... pollution is bad. Looks like the only option is on the southern coast of the town. A sutible location was found.

Well, the construction was a sucsess! The water is running, the "green" folk are happy, and Mr. Whatshisname is mad.
