Alright, today we're gonna hit the road - actually the "Caroline Pass" also known as "E565", "Suicide Road" and "The Pass". A little bit to the history.

In 1830 this pass was build to provide "Abbey-Upon-Tyne" with connections to other towns and cities all over the nation. Sharing borders with the country of "Habsburg" the pass is also a very important trading route for the nations. Since the first opening, the pass has always claimed it's toll to some of the travelling people. This year it already had 5 casualities.

The pass is under contious renovation. Once they finished it, they start again at the beginning so that it is always (sort of) safe to travel here.

You may should avoid taking this route in winter of autumn...nasty weather and snow storms make travelling this pass a suicide mission in these times. But in summer and spring you can enjoy beautiful views of "Abbey-Upon-Tyne" and the "Habsburger Land". Or you can go hiking or climbing up the highest mountain in the country, the "Florence Mountain".

So let's have a look:

Starting near downtown "Abbey-Upon-Tyne" this is the beginning of hte "Caroline Pass". This spot actually doesn't charge any money. Cars and trucks get inspected at random before beeing allowed onto the pass.

After going up some of the stepest slopes you nearly reached the top.

This is one of the highest spots on the pass. Here you can decide which direction you wanna go. The left takes you to the "Habsburger Land" and to the right to the mountain chain near the coast. First we gonna go right...

Following this road you will, eventualy, hit the coast... You can see the "Joshua Bridge", "Milano Tunnel" and the "Washington Bridge".

If you go to the left however you will drive over the "Jean Valley Bridge". If you take a right turn you will end up in the "Habsburger Land"...Toll Free!!! Here you also have reached the highest point on this pass, 2534m over sea level.

Didn't we had this pic already? Sorry for reusing it again but I just like it.

Past the "Horseshoe Mountain" you will end up near the castle "Eltz".

Castle "Eltz", a famous tourist destination can only be reached usin the pass.

Hope you liked this short trip to the countryside. No architecture now, just countryside

Comments are, as per usual, welcome and appreciated.

Innovations: Yay, can't wait for it!

mgmg14: Thank you. I like this golf couse too. It doesn't look so strange like the in-game on, I think.

wallasey: Thank you for the idea. It is still in some sort of a planning stage, it isn't final yet.

froelich131: Thank you. I tried my best here lol.

Very, very nice job with this rock mod and custom trees! Just one question, where have you taken that castle? It looks really great...
