Claxton Update
Sorry for the long wait on this update, but I've been busy! But I have found some time to play SC4 and work on my region. This update is going to focus on the City of Walton.
Walton is one of the port cities in the Claxton region and has a pretty significant industrial presence.
Here are the beginning stages of the port in Walton.

The main drainage ditch that flows out into the bay runs thru Walton.
Region map update to include the expansion eastward in Claxton.
A nice close up of the port. It serves Military, Industry, and leisure.
Because of Walton's strategic port, heavy traffic was flowing into and out of the city. Regional and city leaders needed to find a solution, and that solution was to expand the highway network through Walton.
The decision was made to build a new bridge crossing the port right next to the existing bridge.
Here is the route of the new highway. It will connect with I-40.
The new Walton Memorial Freeway will run through the heart of the industrial park to give more access to the port and region.
Work progresses on the new Andrew P. Halcomb bridge.
The new expressway has already promoted new growth in Walton. 
Sometimes Suburbs have to be sacrificed in the name of progress.
