Good improvements. Remember to hide the grid when taking the shots; this will add an extra touch and make the beach look more realistic.

I like how the highway has broken off before the remains of the Golden Gate Bridge. It adds a poignant feeling which is essential to any dystopia. You should add lots of water pollution (by whatever method you see fit) to sell the idea of the dirty, dilapidated dystopia.

You're doing some awesome artwork.  These single picture updates I think would be better presented as one whole CJ entry so we can scroll up and down and view all the pics in sequence at once on one page.  As well, that allows other CJ artists some space in the list of updates on the front page.

I'd recommend considering a slope mod, that would help you a lot here.

I used a slope mod once and things didn't go well...
