In my neck of the woods we have springs that come from the porous limestone topography and create waterways like this. It's nice because the water is a constant 70 degrees F or so, that's obviously pretty cold when you jump in at first but it's warm enough to actually go into. I'd dive to the bottom and find interesting things as well. I used to live in an apartment near a park with a spring fed river/pool and miss being able to go down there whenever I felt like.

The river's a bit rocky, but the landscaping you did looks pretty good.

 

That patch of black you used for the cave, did you make it yourself?
