It was the only way to create the chaotic, slummy scene you get in the Philippines . Housing there isn't very organized in a lot of dense places :(

TekindusT

It indeed is :P

jmsepe

Ha! Thanks for telling me. My Philippine geography is really rusty since I don't really know any regions beyond Metro Manila and Nueva Ecija :P

Moerp

Thanks, it's tediously achieved in Lot Editor. But it comes with a lot of failed saves, which is actually a problem since the scene never turned out the way I wanted to. The area's scope would've been much wider :P

fan o SC4

Sure, sometime though but not necessarily now :P

MilitantRadical

Thanks, it took a little while for that be realized. And it is Philippine brutalist architecture, so it was meant to fit pretty well :P

Wallibuk

Thanks :D

Thanks, it's uncommon to have S-E Asian cities around so it's great to have done one myself :) We need more stuff like this :)

Richie99

Thanks, and I'm sure :D

frdrcklim

Thanks and yeah, it's supposed to be a metro area, akin to Metro Manila. The only problem I really had with adding extra people and markets was the barrier posed by failed saves in Lot Editor. I initially had the city differently, and had a lot more markets and people on the road as well as vehicles. But Lot Editor decided not to save it, so I had to make do with what was recovered :P

Tonraq

Thanks. Btw, what Plaza? :P

sarthakknight

Thanks a lot :D

Drack

I forgot to make the sign, it should've been over besides the administration building; the one's that look like WTC ground building pieces :P

Neto Dari

Well..the reality isn't as neat as it looks anyway :P

Roman_Samudra

I haven't really liked the overly saturated photos lately. Granted it should be more colorful, but I just felt the need to desaturate it to give it a more polluted, dirty effect :P

RepublicMaster

Thanks a lot Will :D

spursrule14

Thanks :)

Looks great, the skyscrapers fit quite well into the older, surroundings, even the ICC which is over 400m tall

This is insane - I don't think I've ever seen a city that looked so 'right'.

And I love the building with the dolphin 'mosaic' inside - is that a real building?

And edit (20 June) - well done, you're back at number one on BTT this week.

Magnificent!

By any chance can you tell me the name of the building with the dome in the upper right hand corner in the third picture?

I really loved the use of the Parisian W2Ws...

There are a few flaws I see here and there, but I'd be a hypocrite to criticize them and they're clearly overshadowed, so... Simply put, excellent.
