Inskip

Middle Tenne: Inskip
Inskip, known as “The Canal City”, certainly lives up to its nickname. This new town located close to the border with East Tenne has plenty of canals. Why? Well, why not? City Planner Cat Mandu likes canal, so he put them in. Which is fine, since we like them too! Let’s explore the new town near the river. Inskip was founded by Fleet Captain von Bremerhaven, Governor of The Wirdleplex, while he was on vacation in Tenne. He wanted a place with some canals to sail his personal boat. And, you gotta admit that it’d be fun to sail your own boat around town. The City Planning Office developed the riverside town with plenty of canals and with a key road connection to the heavily populated areas to the east.

Here’s the town, looking south toward the river

The canals join together and empty into the river in the center of Rverside Park

As a result of the many canals, there are also many bridges. Hope you don’t have gephyrophobia!

Plenty of bridges, but none is too long. Here, we also see the tallest building in town – SchulmaniCorp Tower.

Here, the town has erected a column in honor of its founder

It is located close to the town’s biggest church, Bremerhavenkirche

Nearby is Inskip Market, the bustling local market place

And Market Square, a retail and office complex across from the town market hall

Can you spot Town Hall and the SchulmaniCorp Warehouses in this picture?

Here they are. They face one another. The Town Hall faces us and we see it, in turn, faces the SchulmaniCorp Warehouses. Across the street and next to the canal is the slender façade of Renford Place, one of Inskip’s premier residential destinations. Luxury apartments feature tall ceilings, luxury countertops, triple glazed and energy efficient windows for comfortable birdwatching and looking out of the windows as well as platinum plated fixtures throughout. Wanna move in?

This area has access to Riverside Park, the town’s biggest park and best spot to pounce on stuff.

Rivergate is the official entrance to Riverside Park. It houses the visitor center and gift shop. There’s also meeting rooms, a kitchen and litter box facilities. It’s a great place to hire for your next event or gathering.

Welcome to Riverside Park! Who wants to join me in chasing some squirrels and pigeons? C’mon!
