I think there are some very nice things going on in your pictures, but as attachments, I can't really see them in the thumbnails very well. A better way to show them off in all their full-sized glory is to upload them to an image-hosting website (imageshack, photobucket, imgur, flickr, to name a few) and then use a direct link to post them in your entries. It takes some time to click each picture to download them individually this way, and I'm sure the amount of compliments you receive will go up if you post this way because, as I said, it looks like you have some pretty cool stuff going on.

Thanks for the advice. I think i've got it right now, although i cant seem to get the full town map uploaded. It was pieced together with photos on the third zoom level so the detail is pretty good.

It's the California terrain mod with PEG's rock mod craggy sandstone and SHK Brigantine blue green water.
