Admiral Islands: The Secret Base

Welcome back to the Admiral Islands! It has been a long time since we have been back here. That’s because the islands have largely been cut off from the outside world due to the Queensferry blockade of the Schulminion coast, the fact that the islands do not yet appear on navigation maps, and Queensferry’s dominance of the seas. But, after the successful blockade run a few months back, a massive convoy of personnel and supplies successfully made it east out of Schulmania and is poised to turn the tide of the war. On the island of New Hestorbia, a small town begins to grow alongside a new and secret military base. Due to wartime circumstances, the town lacks the traditional opulence of most Schulminion cities. But, it still contains the basic elements of a traditional town, as well as a significant and advanced military footprint. So, without much further ado, welcome to the Admiral Islands Naval Base, home of the Eastern Oceanic Joint Strike Force, the Royal Schulmania Navy’s Sixth Fleet, and several regiments from the Bureau of Feline Affairs Military Command.

Quai des Orfèvres is one of the main shopping areas in the military town. Here’ a variety of goods and services are available. Due to the blockade, most items are locally produced.

Despite wartime shortages, pleasant outdoor recreational spaces have been developed. And the Lambton-Quai School sits on Lambton Circle, a great place to learn as well as a great place to fish!

Officers and guests are housed in quarters on Officer’s Row, along Captain Crunch Street.

Commanding Officer Commodore Vanderbilt lives in this fine home. His family enjoys the gracious house. His in-laws live with him… his outlaws live next door in the small white house!

Of course, the town is a military area. So, let’s see the secret base which will turn the tide of war in our favor… Or, at least, we hope will turn the tide of war in our favor…

The Eastern Oceanic Joint Strike Force Operations and Command Center (that’s a mouthful… try saying that 5 times in 3 seconds!) is better known by its nickname, “The White Castle”.

Now, I know what you’re thinking… not THAT White Castle! :P

Behind the White Castle is a row of barracks (left) and the headquarters of the Royal Schulmania Navy 6th Fleet (center right). The BFA Military Command Liaison Office is to the right of the White Castle.

Now, I know you look at this and think “That’s not a very good industrial area and there’s both Maxis vanilla stuff and repeated buildings in there. Shame on you, Schulmanator.” And, you are right. But, you see, this is not supposed to be a showpiece of industrial might and/or eye candy. This is Schulmania’s first real factory. The massive brick facility, known as the Royal Claw Works, is an armory. Here, is working to build weapons and warships and other military supplies. Now, the blockade cannot stop our military buildup in the islands.

One of the new devices made at the Royal Claw Works is the self-propelled meownicopter shown proudly upon the deck of our newest ship, the S. S. Spirit of Devonshire, named for the largely occupied territory Schulmania plans to liberate

Ensign Napoleon Meownaparte poses on the deck with the Meownicopter. We have built three so far and another 12 are being built at the Royal Claw Works.

Hahei: fyi, "BuggUla" is the leader of those pesky enemies, which are called Buggs (BuggUla without the Ula) ;)

Back to the topic at hand, Ensign Meownaparte looks truly fearsome!
