Hi, ggamgus. I'm not sure why you think you would go up - you had fewer replies per update for last week's BTT than for two weeks ago. This week you had a better average, however the CJs ranked higher than yours were more popular. I always say: the fate of all CJs is to go up and down.

Hi, escilnavia . Well, your updates must be generating replies, which gets you on BTT. BTT doesn't make you popular, I don't think...

Hi, Blakeway. One thing my system helps to mitigate is the city journaler who has an update that is popular across 2 weeks. The majority of the score comes from the current week, and the most popular CJ of the week almost always hits number one.

Hi, ggamgus. I'm not sure that you significantly decreased... sometimes other CJs attract more replies (while you might stay the same, or generate a few less). Remember that I am tracking about 150 CJs for the Top Ten +10, so if your CJ is listed, you're doing very well.

Ben's Top Ten

Dragon Islands Cities spends a second week at number one. Welcome back to Commonwealth of Shayden, New Chandler and Republic of Baldur at 4, 9 and 10. One of my favorites, The Greater Morsco is a new entry at 6. This turned out to be one of the most competitive weeks I have seen for the BTT+10... positions 11-20 were only separated by 12 points, and usually the spread is 30.

Oh, I thought my CJ was declining. I didn't know that it could just be other CJ's gaining more comments. Okay. I understand. 150 CJ's just for the +10 area? Wow.

How do you know where you are even if your not in the standings? I noticed lots of people saying last week 'I'm 13th' or something. How can you tell? Anyway, Congrates Skimbo! Oh, wait, is it the list at the bottom?

I think it's because of all the comments we gave him about his CJ's. The majority of them say he needs to put bigger and more pictures, make a city... I don't think it matters if the comments are bad or good...

Well, not there this week, but that's okay. There are a lot of really great journals out there, it's good to see some new faces up here :) . I do enjoy the top ten journals, that's for sure!

The Top Ten are in the Picture. The +10 are written at the bottom. The top CJ in the +10 is "11" and the Bottom is "20". 13 would be the 3rd +10 ranking- in this case Auburn is 13th.

ggamgus: Replies (whether negative or not) get you on BTT as stated in Benedict's Reply to escilnavia (above).
