Alek: Hey mate. Much of it has been fixed up and eventually when I get back to it I'll fix it up more.. It was my very first port so I had a steep learning curve to overcome.. So you certainly have a point. Thanks for your candor mate..

I thought the brown streaks were ment to be water pollution as you would get quite a lot of water pollution from a port like that...

This is a great thread and is motivating me to do some custom lot work. Seaports and industrial development has always been something I haven't put much effort into but the stuff here looks great.

aleking: Where did you get that oil tanker in your 1st pic on the previous page ? I looked through every page in the Japanese BAT thread but couldn't find it. Did I just miss it ? BTW, your stuff always looks great.

Believe in only what you can prove.

Okay now here

's my attack on the port, from the view of a small fishing town, based on Westport, Washington.

By the way, fantastic work Aleking, that port is simply amazing.

Fairlane500: What is the mod that makes the word "STOP" appear on the road where it intersects the street (at the top center of your image)?

Great looking waterfront, looks very realistic for a Pacific NW town.

fantastic ports guys... aleking's is especially impressive, the shear scale of those monsters is what makes them so realistic.

thinking of any real life port, you just have to remember the amount of land that they use up, no wonder they reclaim so much these days to enlarge ports.
