Nice city, anubis. I like how you put Jeronij's harbor-tower on one of the piers.

Montaukshire reminds me of atlanta in terms of how its layed out. Port Karn looks a bit like Seattle/Tacoma

the accomplishment:

I managed to get only medium- and high-wealth sims onto that small neighbourhood.  doesn't it look good?

Nice, quite detailed... but for usability, not so hot.

Anyway, FINALLY got my airport done. Hyatt City Regional.

HyattCity14.jpg

HyattCity13.jpg

Took many tries, many diferent configurations, but this one won. You'll notice quite a bit of open flat space behind the airport. That is for an adition that I hope to add on soon. Just another runway, the UDI lot, a heliport, and some hangers. The entire city is experimental and half-built, so I decided to make an experimental and half-built airport.

This is quite possible one of the pictures I've ever taken in my city, in one of the most accomplished areas in my city. The harbor at night (BEAUTIFUL NIGHT-LIGHTING)

Some nice pictures in here since my last look... Really like the look of that seaside motorway LP, and UnkleS27, im am diggin that sattelite photo of your region... Unfortunately my region is nowhere near complete, so regionshots will have to wait. Heres one of my recently completed boardwalk/harbor-thingy (whatever you call it) area... Turned out pretty nice in my own humble opinion!! 12.gif

So I assume you used the nam elevated-ground highway peice, breifly conected it in the center, and brought back down. Then you used some overlaying peg pond peices to make it look funcional, correct?

Now the question is, why don't I have the overlaying pond peices???

The business hub of the region, NAGA CITY. Although, most of the cities in the Bicol Region are transforming very fast into new business centers, Naga City still emerges the most vibrant city in the region.

The pieces are listed as El Extenders with a icon picture of them extending underneath an elevated rail line. They can be used to extend under almost anything. The prop overhangs the lot to cover the terrain next to them. There are left, center, and right pieces.

Okay, I know I don't have those in my menu, so I'll just have to raid peg's site. Thanks for the info.

LP, Peg has some pieces (I think they're called El-train or monorail extenders) that have a 1x1 footprint, but extend 2x1, so that they can protrude under elevated rail or monorail tracks. To obtain a look like Weird has, with the highway, you'd need an extender on either side

XEEX

with the highway portion where the E's are.

I understand the concept very well, so no need to explain, but thanks anyway. All I really wanted to know is where to get them. I hate it when I have a set of something, but then I see another peice I dont' have. However... my quickly growing plugins folder really suffers from that. Its around 800mb+ I think... currently figuring out if upgrading my master hardrive to a sata 3.0gbps would be worth it. Sure it'd decrease load time as well as overall preformance... but man... programs, plugins, and not to mention the OS, ALL would have to be moved/reinstalled.

Sorry, I didn't know what you didn't know!

Those should be in the parks menu right around the rest of the pond kit... I believe (though I can't remember 100%) that it has a picture of a monorail over the water... I'll maybe look tomorrow night if I get a chance (first time I'll have one, I'm going to be tomorrow and then I work too).

No rush. My peg pond/stream peices are thrown left and right on my computer, one of the few plugins that escaped my hardrive crash a while back. Most everything got built back up and organized, but that patricular cluster is mixed in with other stuff and I belive may be missing a few peices, including those. I re-downloaded the sets last night and I'll delete and put the new colections back into my plugins when I get home today.

Ah, if only I could stay home all day and built cities...

pretty much 100% BAT... not too shabby.

Now I'll ask a question that I'm sure someone here can awnser. What is the easist way to go through a folder of BATs to find a single corrupt one? I thought I found it, so I continued on without it in the game, but then it crashed. Aparently when testing it simply never came up. its a growable building and in my res-com folder. I have it narowed down to a group of japanese BATs... but thats it.
