Congratulations, Ash and Dani 39.gif

Welcome to the newest little Simtropolian.

Congrats! Having three children is quite an achievement, I am the youngest of three, so I guess I have something in common with Jillian.

Ah, one of life's great moments... savor it MC6ASH! 4.gif

Jillian is a girl's name, sloppet. and most people here haven't been named Purity since pilgrim times.

You know, I never persoanly understood why couples always get congratulated when they have a new baby... I mean, what's the big achievement? "Congratulations! You managed to carry a fetus properly!" or "Congratuations! You managed to keep mating until you got pregnant!" or, more and more so these days "Congratulations! You forgot your pill!"
... doesn't seem like anything particularly challenging was done, y'know? The hardest part is the next 18+ years. 3.gif

Sill, it's a significant occasion, but "congratulations" doesn't seem fitting.

So I'll say this:

"MC6Ash got: +1 baby of diaper soiling!"

That is no minor achievement. Until you have done it successfully, don't dis those who have.

or "Congratuations! You managed to keep mating until you got pregnant!" quote>

In many cases, that is no minor achievement either. One in ten couples in the country you and I live in have major difficulty getting and staying pregnant.

Parenthood is not a minor thing. It is a major step. and major steps in life are noteworthy. It is customary to congratulate people who reach certain milestones in life.

Congratulations. You now have one for each of you and one for the Queen. Planning any more? A friend of mine, who has 12 children, said that if you can manage three you can manage any number.

There will be a party for Ash and Dani (who are not required to show) at the Moose Factory on Sunday. See notice in the Factory thread.
