This place is a little too bright, but the blue/green/beige theme is second only to the original. And it was colour coded, too. That was cool. Made it seem organised.

And where the heck is the banner? That's a stock image from maxis! How about a city scape that changes during the day, a day time scene during day, and a night scene at night or something. That would be cool.quote>

Every heard of the phrase, "Beggers can't be choosey"? 2.gif (Alright, he did say he is open to feedback)

In all reality, Simtropolis 3 was truely a server's nightmare when you consider that you have a flurry of different images you had to use on any page, not the mention all of the information that used to be on the pages and such. (Don't we all kinda miss "Latest Replies" on every page?)

Looking at it though, ST 5 is definately a step foward from that dreadful forum system. Nothing was worse than posting and having your post magically disappear 17.gif

Personally, i liked ST 3's color scheme the best by far, however, i like the board layout style from 4, and as for the code behind the site, I really like what we got now, 5.0.

Even in my lurking days 1 and 2 where long gone, so i dont know about them at all.

Maybe a 3.0 theme would be nice for st5 perhaps.. *wink* *wink*

BTW, i like simvision but i cannot stand how the forums are all bizzare threadedness and you have to go on a wild goose chase to find anything. But they got the color scheme down.

Yeah, I must admit, I'm getting very use to the new Simtropolis 5.0. I think probably in a month or two, almost all the errors will be fixed, we will have the homepage and modds & downloads section.

The Simtropolis Grey theme is quite nice. I'm using it right now.

The one problem I have with the new Simtropolis is the lack of a "proper" homepage, like the old version had.
