I have been waiting for these three buildings to appear at simcity.com, but if someone can build the Sydney opera house, the Eiffel Tower and the UN headquarters it would be much appreciated.
And where exactly can I download the finished requested buildings?

Thanks frogface, I know where to search for those finished buildings now.

And I've come up with some other buildings.
The most wanted buildings on my list are now:

United Nations Headquarters, New York, USA

Sydney Opera House, Sydney, Australia

The Vatican, Vatican city, Rome, Italy

I thought I saw someone building the opera house, but I'm not sure who it was.

I also noticed the Petronas Towers and the Library Tower are being built by two very skilled members. Those two buildings look absolutely amazing, and I can't wait to download those structures! keep it up!

Ok, here are my two requests.  I'd try to tackle them myself, but I'd probably need a lot of help from others to make sure that they'd be high quality.  If I did them myself, they wouldn't turn out nearly as good as they potentially could.

 

 

This is the Palacio Salvo in Montevideo, Uruguay; a large, itallian-gothic style building. Once the tallest building in South America, it was built in 1928.  This would be a particularly difficult building to do since it's covered with so much ornimental architecture.  Still, it will always remain in the beck of my mind as a possibile project either for me or for someone willing to take a stab at it.

 

 

 

The other one that really interests me is the Torre ANTEL, recently finished in 2002.  This skyscraper also resides in Montevideo, but rather outside of downtown.  ANTEL is the nation-wide phone company.  It's 162 m tall.  this one would probably be easier than the Palacio Salvo, but still a dawnting task none the less.

I was wondering,with so many talented people in simtropolis doing awsome jobs creating lots would it be possible to create the following?
-new car ferry terminal
-new car ferry boats(like the ones in Europe and Canada.)
-A waterfront shopping center with a marina,lots of shops in a row fashion,and nice textures like that Simgoober has done with his new shopping center.I'm not any good at creating lots so I'm hoping that one of the many talented artists on here could help create them.

In general, I think we REALLLLLLLLLLY need more stage 4 and 5 apartments, mainly medium wealth.

I think a very ambitious but needed project is an automotive assembly plant. It would be huge, but also employ lots of sims and also greatly increase industrial demand because so many suppliers locate near these facilites. I have toured the Saturn plant in Tennessee and was very impressed. If you wanted one industry that can change a communitys economy it would be an auto assembly plant. I also think it should be ploppable but very expensive because towns have to give up big bucks to recruit one of these plants.

Hi everyone, I was wondering if any of you BAT-ing wizards out there could re-create a Norman Cathedral. Many such cathedrals are found in the UK, they have a large spire and are built around 11th-13th centuries. I am truly inspired by ancient monuments esp. churches/cathedrals. We have a beautiful one where I live, Norwich Cathedral. Find pictures here, if they help....

Hello. I'm totally new to Simtropolis. Been here for a month now I guess. So, first things first, hello to everyone

Now, I was wondering if someone could come up with an Elevated Rail to Ground Rail. I was thinkin of creatin one myself in the BAT, but couldn't crasp the premise and technique to do it. But that'd be a great thing to have as well.

You may want to read up on the Modding -> Open Discussion board.  I haven't been paying too much attention to the rail mods, but I know I've heard mention of stuff like that many times.  There may even be modders/BATers looking into that now.

This may be less of a BAT thing, and more of a texture/lot request, but I think it is a good one:

 

A beach (without resource-hogging seagulls) that has a transparent sand area, so that the sandy area of the terrain shows through, and the beach does not create an ugly square patch under the water. This beach should replace the default one, and should be easier to place (less finicky) than that one too.

I agree that request should be centralized but really it does not seem anyone really uses this to fill request. Most make their own buildings are have fill requests inside their own threads.

Hi This is a request for something quite simple rather than the usual beautiful architectural pces that most of you are getting into...a Tank...meaning the very large petroleum products storage tanks you see on a farm of them beside a refinery or chemical plant or out in the middle of nowhere at a pipeline junction or pumping facility...Thanks Steve

I'm a toon and video game fan, and I'm sure that I'm not alone. Most everyone on here is too serious. Here's my list of ideas (If I get to it, I might attempt one):

* The Simpsons - Simpsons' Home (seems like a would-be fun design)
* The Powerpuff Girls - The Utonium Home (cute all white house)
* Teen Titans - The Teen Titans Tower (seems easy, maybe for a newbie like me)
* The Powerpuff Girls - Mojo Jojo Lair (cool project)
* Codename: Kids Next Door - Treehouse HQ (only someone godly should attempt this)

Other Ideas:
* X-Men mansion
* Futurama Planet Express (a good one)
* Ed, Edd, n Eddy - The Cul-De-Sac
* Pokemon - something popular
* Yu-Gi-Oh - a dueling area (maybe a recreation park)
* Hmm..I can't think of any video games...maybe Final Fantasy.

Some of the hero buildings could function as crime fighters.
