I'd like to request the AOL Timer Warner Center, here in Manhattan. It consists of two tall, 55-story residential towers and sits on the corner of Columbus Circle...a roundabout!

http://nymag.com/realestate/articles/04/timewarner/

"The 750 feet, twin-towered multi-use complex, named Columbus Centre (or AOL Time Warner Center), will house the AOL Time Warner World Headquarters, a 250-room/suite luxury hotel (the Mandarin Oriental, New York) spaces for retail, entertainment, restaurants and offices, 225 luxury apartments, as well as CNN live broadcast production studios and a 12,500 m² concert hall for the use of Jazz at Lincoln Center."

I'd like to see a proper cricket/AFL field (seasonal field would be a good option - The seasons tend not to clash). A smallish one would be fine, something like the one here would be nice:

To anybody who fills this request, thankyou. You're filling a hole that's been in the game for a VERY long time...

Actually the UN model is on stex, unrendered, but still BATed nonetheless. Ive tried to render it, but my computer isn't strong enough 15.gif

UN Model

So a heads up, you need Gmax, a good computer, and something to keep yourself busy while it renders, of course someone (w/ creators permission) can upload it to stex rendered to save time.....

Just saw this in METROPOLIS today:

Pearl River Tower

Guangzhou, China

Fall 2009

Skidmore, Owings, & Merrill (SOM)

If all comes true, this will be a landmark for sustainable architecture: A high rise tower that produces more energy than it uses. MORE. Those funnels in the facade are wind turbines, the glass is lined with photovoltaics, and the building uses passive heating/cooling for minimal impact. This building will even use humidity to it's advantage.

I would love to see this building in my city...I wouldn't mind seeing it for real either.

Greetings, fellow SimCity players!

I would like to request for MORE of Art Deco and Italian architecture. Deadwood already had made one of em' but that's it. There are only at least two Italian buildings/lots that I can find via search on STEX. More Art Deco and Italian architecture plz. Thanks in advance.

Respectfully Yours,

Chief of Staff

It would be awesome if someone could make Davies Symphony Hall, located in San Francisco. Sorry that I don't have any pics.

I agree, possibly in wall-to-wall lots.

Would it be possible for someone to create some Polish buildings? I have no skills in BAT, but I would love to see some beautiful Polish buildings (many of which are almost 800-1000 years old).

In particular, I would like to see:

The Sukiennice (Cloth Hall) in Krakow (Cracow)

Kosciol Mariacki (Church of St Mary) in Krakow (Cracow)

Basilika Mariacka (Basilica of St Mary) in Gdansk (Danzig)

Wawal Castle and Cathedral in Krakow (Cracow)

Can somone tell me how to attach pictures?

Thx,

Dan

i was hoping someone could make a replica of Taylor Field and Mosiac Stadium in Regina, SK.

Its the pride of saskatchewan although its not very large (28800 seating capacity) and yeah i realize that there is one BAT that closely ressembles Mosiac, however there are a few elements that are missing (the jumbotron and the practice feild).

i couldn't find many images of Taylor Feild but:

http://www.worldstadiums.com/stadium_pictures/north_america/canada/saskatchewan/regina_taylor.shtml
http://www.globalairphotos.com/large/SK/Regina/Core/2004/127/1

i wish i could find more images for refrences but those are the best i could get.

Well, seing as we have a few members from Portsmouth here, and we have Fratton station, these are my requests.

Portsmouth Harbour Railway Station

The Harbour Station is a rail station which is built on a peir above Portsmouth's Harbour. The line at this point is elevated and two tracks wide (so it could be connected to a standard elevated rail peice). The line splits into four platforms and one abandoned platform. There is also a ferryport serving the Isle of Wight at the very end (if this proves impossible, leave it, I'd build the port next to it).

Portsmouth and Southsea Railway Station

Portsmouth and Southsea is the old terminal line before it was brought to the harbour, and serves Commercial Road and the City Centre.

To the north a rail line (four tracks wide, but we could make it two to make it easier to built). It then splits, two tracks head west and terminate. After splitting, the other two tracks become elevated and go over the top of the first two tracks station building.

Obviously, they're better if you know the area, but hey, anything will do!

Thanks!

I really want to see a six lane boulevard made, three tiles wide, fully functional and transit enabled - just like avenues but bigger... and also a combination bus/subway stop thats also transit enabled would be cool too...

How about a parked Atlas/Prometheus from Mechassault 2: Lone Wolf? That's be a nice addition to my city. Make it have some kind of landmark effect, ya know, where it attracts Commercial Buisnesses.
