i was wondering if it would be possible to make the simpson family home in BAT. I myself cannot make anything but a tree or maybe a small carboard box and i don't have the time with school and all. I figured you wouldn't need a picture because almost everyone knows what the home looks like. If you do need a picture than contact me via PM.

i have a request. go to sactowers.com and please BAT the complex? it's 597 ft tall, has 53 floors, and is a hotel/condo. based from the design, shouldn't be too difficult to make. make a good building. please consider that.

ONE-LANED ROAD

 

I'd like to request a transit enabled one-lane road.

We have seen those one-way roads in the game, but they are 2 laned one-way roads.

I'd like someone to churn up one of these because there are alot of them in the City of Melbourne

Since you cannot take up half a block for something, I have thought that the centre of the block should be the one-laned road and the sides can be the footpath.

(whereas a normal road has its paths overlapping into the blocks next to it.)

Technicly thats not really possible, as one tile is wide enough for more than one lane, so one way streets are always going to be the same size as a road.

garfiedude: You know how roads take up one tile with the side paths of the road overlapping into the next tile? I was thinking for the one-lane road the space that the lane doesn't take up in the tile is covered by the side paths. Cheers.

So basicly, you want a new road piece that is half tile, half pavement?
Yu couldmake lots that way, but making an actual road tool would be a no go unless you did it with the ANT, but the ANT can't function like a road, so it would be just for looks.

How about the North Point Water Tower Milwaukee Wisconsin.



It's a beautiful building, and once more, this sight is noticably low on Milwaukee landmarks (one). Not to say that Im demanding that you create the whole city, but one more couln't hurt. Plus, it could be made on a 1x1 size lot, and those are always useful in any city. They fit well into pazas, and things like that.

I was thinking wouldn't it be cool if someone could make a BAT for a wind farm. The wind farm would make a city look realstic, save land space, and look pretty cool at the same time.

If anyone is interested in developing such a BAT, I would recomend that the capacity for the wind farm be higher than a collection of land based wind power plants found in Simn City, since the ocean produces a breeze, thus the plants can produce more power.

UNION STATION

 

If anyone is interested in a Canadian building (train station being its main function), Union Station in Toronto would be much appreciated.  It's not too complex to BAT, and if you like Beaux-Arts - this is an excellent building.  It occupies an entire city block lengthwise, but is not so deep that it takes up an entire block.

 

Why?  Here's a reason:

Union Station is the largest and most opulent train station erected in Canada.  It is also the country's busiest public transportation terminal, and sees more passengers than Canada's busiest airport's three terminals combined (annually).  When the Prince of Wales visited Toronto, his comment about Union Station was You build your stations like we build our cathedrals.  The USA has its Grand Central in New York, Canada has its Union Station in Toronto (albeit Union Station is not in the same style and definately less ornate on the outside, but none the less inspiring).

  

If you need any pictures of the exterior, I would gladly take some.  This link might also help, but I've found no picture that really captures the grandeur of this station.

Hi guys
u know how traffic problems grow with cities. I would request some one to build a Residential as well as commercial plotable buildings with bus stops build on opposite sides if building is big or just one bus stop.
This really improve space utilisation and traffic management.

Plopable residentals are a no-go.
There is a mod that gives the landmarks subway stations, probably not quite what you want though.

update olivinna castle to include underwater textures & have its own power. small red brick walls, concrete, stone, small stone etc walls that don't have any rails, trees etc & no park feature- and some that match the textue of the castle walls that can all be placed in/ out & inbetween water. Please please please!!!!!!

I already posted this as a topic but just found out this is more appropriate. Sorry. Many airports (example Newark) have monorail or people mover systems to transport between terminals and parking etc. How about some Airport puzzle pieces that are terminals or parking that include Monorail stations?

Hello i am currently figureing out simcity4000, but in the future i am hoping to make city recreations.

I will need actuall buildings though. My first 2 cities are going to be Las Vegas and Atlantic city. If anyone knows where i can locate bat files for casinos that would be great.

 

I am looking for The excalibur, The luxor, The mgm grand, the old stardust, and the ballys hotels in Las Vegas. I am looking for the Borgata, and the trump taj majal in Atlantic city.

 

I am also looking for the Carew Tower in Cinncinatti. BOA in Dallas . 2 IFC in Hong Kong and the aol time warner center in new york.
