I would like to request a brick wall rock mod, and maybe one that imitates the texture of the castle walls set.

I would love to see deconstructed (build your own) air force, security, area 51 and army bases- similar to what people have done with airports and golf courses.

Very high capacity schools of all varieties.

double decker transportation with on/ off ramps.

diagonal underpasses.

gravel roads- like the dirt ones but whiter, more dusty than muddy looking.

a yellow submarine.

working transit enabled seaport with rail connection.

pm me if I can help in any way!!

could someone make Topcliff Enterprises for me? i'll give a description of what it should look like: 67 stories, squared circle design, wrap-around glass windows, arched spire with logo in light blue saying:

Topcliff Enterprises

and last but not least, on the front side a large 15 story atrium which then arches into the complex. i'd make it myself but i'm horrible at BAT.

I went to Dareka's website and look at some of of the buildings. These are the one I like:sky6,st2,st60,skybuilding2,skybuilding3,skybuilding4, and skybuilding5. Saddly these don't go in the game. I'm bad at modding and the Bat. I wonder if anybody can fix these buildings so they work. If anybody has nothing to do they can do it. Can anyone please do it!! His website is at http://www.geocities.jp/dareka789/bat.html 29.gif29.gif  This post is done25.gif sorry25.gif

How about a YMCA (Young Mens Clubs of America) or a Boys and Girls Club. It could have a park or school like effect have jobs and maybe even reduce some crime in its area.

I've got a request.  We've seen a lot of W2W commercial and residential buildings, and some W2W civic (such as educational buildings and some transportation) but, and perhaps this request should go in the modding section, might it be possible for someone to either create in BAT or mod some existing W2W buildings so that they were police, fire, health, and any other civic buildings?  I've had a problem of continuity in the European cities I've built because I have built neighborhoods of residential and commercial W2W, but when I go to build my civic buildings, they lose the W2W look.

Having never been to Europe, I don't know if the hospitals (or clinics) and fire and police departments are in the W2W style (in the same way that their com and res are) but I know in Chicago that the police stations and fire stations are in the W2W style (and there's actually a Chicago-style FD on the STEX), so perhaps they are similar in Europe.

Either way, I would appreciate if someone could, like I said, BAT or mod some W2W civic buildings so that there was continuity throughout an entire city, not just the majority of places.

Thanks!

Some of Born75(or was it 57?) buildings have been made into civic buildings, and one of them is a clinic. But for larger police stations and firedepartments and hospitals, you'll find they tend to be modern looking buildings, often no more than a few decades old at the most. Blending them into an 'older' looking city is thus part of the challenge that planners face in the real world too.
But yeah, i guess a few small to medium sized clinics, and small police and firestations are called for.

Andreas
I've been on the look out for a few of these too, its a niche that seems lacking. Superstar made a modest looking one that houses just shy of a thousand, Big 6 i think its called (its the cross shaped one). Swisten Place looks promising too, though it seems to be work in progress sort of.
Personaly i've been toying with the idea of finding a nice looking R$ or a modest looking R$$$ and converting it.

I don't suppose someone can make a BAT of the Swan bell tower in Perth? I went there once and it would make an amazing landmark (esp if nightlights could be done right). I searched existing files, didn't find it. sorry if it exists and i missed it..

and just a little bit about em

Located at the Barrack Street Jetty, the Swan Bells is one of the world

Can any one make these two towers from Kuwait city for SimCity?

(BTW: thanks to skiGeek and DragonAnime for reffering me to this thread!!)
Kuwait

These first two are of Kuwait Towers

kuwait12.jpg
Kuwait%20Liberation%20Tower%202.jpg

And these are of Liberation Tower

I really don't have much knowledge about the two except for the following:

Kuwait Tower:
 * consists of three towers the tallest being 187m high (don't know about the other two)
  * the tallest tower has two spheres; the lower/bigger one has one floor where the restaurant is. the higher smaller sphere contains a cafeteria.
 * the second tallest tower has one sphere which is basically a water tank to distribute water for parts of the city.
 * the shortest tower has no sphere and controlls electicity distribution for the downtown section.

Liberation tower:
*372 meter high
*a cafeteria is at 145 meter high in the disk shape part of the tower
other than that i have no idea, but it was built next to the older telecommunication tower (the smaller building with the antenas and dishes as u can see in the third picture). the older tower was also on top of the 18 stories office building where all the workers stayed)

Thank you17.gif

What do you mean by 'functional'?
There are IIRC, at least 3 mosques and 2 synagogues on the STEX.
Like all the churches/cathedrals, they are just standard landmarks.

I think it might be cool to have some Boston buildings in the game. I know there is the Hancock building-I downloaded off of STEX, but it would be cool if some people molded such other landmarks as the Prudential Center and the Customs House. Just a thought 1.gif

Could someone please make a SuperTarget store? Having just visited my first one recently, I loved it, and want my sims to have one to shop at and enjoy as well. Here are the few exterior pictures I could dig up thanks to AltaVista.
