well first you have to upload it to the net. use photobucket.com for it. then you have to copy the direct link and place it between

[ i m g ]

and

[ / i m g ]

without the spaces of course...

(photobucket has the complete code ready for you if you upload it with photobucket.)

Just paste it on here and, TA-DA! your photo 4.gif

Don't bother messing with tags. Just use the inset image button (image.gif) and paste the direct link in there.

And, um, there are places other than photobucket you can use. ImageShack, for instance. Which, unlike Photobucket, doesn't require registration.

I can't believe this thread had a "chest hair" discussion :\

I do however find back hair disgusting. Sometimes I wanna get some wax and just making some carpets when I go to the beach.

But eh... your prerogative.

Nice pics folks.

er, a claw hammer, a shovel (at least, that's what normal people call them), a tape measure(I think)...and a thing.

Colonel Mustard, in the kitchen, with the lead pipe.

Wait, what?

I haven't talked to them about posting those pictures on the internet, and I don't know what their thoughts on the matter are. So I cover their faces up, just in case any of them might object to being shown here.quote>

I had to back up a page to get that one.  He is listing what your co-workers are holding.

We can inspire others through witness so that one grows together in communicating. But the worst thing of all is religious proselytism, which paralyzes: “I am talking with you in order to persuade you.” No. Each person dialogues, starting with his and her own identity. The church grows by attraction, not proselytizing.    - Pope Francis

Oh, right.18.gif

Might have been helpful if he specified that. 34.gif

Anyways, let's address that:

Correct

a shovel (at least, that's what normal people call them)quote>

More specifically, it's the special shovel that the city uses for groundbreaking ceremonies (hence why it's so clean). To nitpick, the type of shovel is a "spade".

But  yes, it's a shovel, so correct.

a tape measure(I think)quote>

Technically, no, that's not a tape measure. It's a steel tape. Differences being (other than what it's made of) first, that it's intended specifically for use in surveying; second, that the tape is exposed rather than wound up inside of a chamber (also, it has to be rewound manually, there's no spring), and third and most importantly, it measures only in feet, not feet and inches.

A normal tape measure might give you readings like "2 feet, 3 and ¾ inches".  A survey tape won't do inches or power of 2 fractions thereof, it will do feet, tenths of feet, and hundredths of feet. So it would read "2.31 feet" instead (about the same measument, though not exactly the same)

Of course, if you live elsewhere in the world and use metric there's no difference in how a tape measue and a survey tape read.

and a thing.quote>

It's called a "rod". It's another surveying tool. The way it works is that one person holds that rod up at one point on the ground while another person with a "level" (essentially a mini-telescope) looks through it and reads an elevation off the rod. More modern rod and level systems usually have a laser take the reading instead of a second person (it's quicker and more accurate).

You can then read the hights off with the rod at multiple points without moving the level. This allows you tomeasure differences in elevation fairly precisely - down to the hundredth of a foot (or, in metric, to the millimeter).

If you always take the same road, you will never see anything new.
