These lists are all biased, as I loathe even the great sports games like NFL 2K5. I'll just say that I have Driv3r and it is not that bad. It is definitely one of the biggest disappointing games ever made, but it is playable and quite fun. I love the driving physics in the game, as they are not too far off reality yet manage to be very playful. I'm a Gran Turismo strict realistic physics kind of person, but Driv3r is so much fun. I should start playing Mafia for PC again; that was a great game.

for me, it has to be the following games:

    Metal Gear Solid 2 & 3
Grand Theft Auto Vice City & San Andreas (haven't played no. 3 yet)
and hopefully the GT series when i evetually get them

And how could i forget the SSX series, okay the first one was a typical snowboading game, but SSX Tricky and SSX 3 redefined the snow boarding game!

“The American city should be a collection of communities where every member has a right to belong. It should be a place where every man feels safe on his streets and in the house of his friends. It should be a place where each individual's dignity and self-respect is strengthened by the respect and affection of his neighbors. It should be a place where each of us can find the satisfaction and warmth which comes from being a member of the community of man. This is what man sought at the dawn of civilization. It is what we seek today.”

I actually don't consider San Andreas a great game... its decent, but in all essence, its hardly different from the first two.  Yea you can customize how your character looks, yea there are three cities instead of one, and yes there are other little things here and there that are new.  But the basic design of the game has hardly changed at all and I found San Andreas a game that I could get sick of quite fast and I don't mind not having finished the game.  The gangster map was cool, except the territories were like... 2 buildings and quite tedious.  San Andreas is good, but not, in my opinion, among the best.

    Medal of Honor: Frontline
Kingdom Hearts (for being Disney, it was actually quite fun to my surprise)
Grand Theft Auto III and Vice City (Something about Vice City made it stand out more)
Lord of the Rings: Return of the King
    Final Fantasy X
    Spiderman 2
    Prince of Persia
Freedom Fighters (Surprisingly good, even though the storyline was not as developed as I had desired and i'm surprised anyone actually liked it with me)
    Metal Gear Solid 2

Sorry, but I found Driver 3 was a terrible knockoff of Grand Theft Auto and although its driving was more realistic, I did find the fact that most fences couldn't be knocked down VERY annoying.

    My favorites are...

    1. GTA: San Andeas = better be like the other two extremely awesome games than try something completely new. (plus everything in the ENTIRE game has been altered or had a crapload of stuff put onto it, you can even be a fat guy in his underwear riding a bicycle!)

    2. Final Fantasy ten = It was one of the longest, in dept, and had soo many attacks and cusomizable weapons, that i could easily spend over 100 hours to completely finish the game, while having fun at it.

    3. Metal Gear Solid 2 / Splinter cell: Pandora Tommorow = they tie at 3 because they are both extremely good updates of thier original titles. (metal gear brought everything up-to-date from the PS1, had some of the best graphics EVER when it came out, and has a really freaky storyline / Multiplayer stealth = ecstacy38.gif)

    4. Twisted Metal Black = Theres just something fun about driving an ice cream truch while burning alive people trapped in thier cars (All the backstories in this game were wickedly sidistick = 36.gif)

    5. Dynasty Worriers 4 = like a motal among gods i think dynasty worriers is the best hack-n-slash game ever.

    Interesting... Here goes:

    1) Star Ocean: Till the End of Time. Crummy ending, main character was as whiny as Luke Skywalker in Ep. 4, but everything else was perfect.

    2) Kingdom Hearts. Seems I'm not the only one surprised by how good this is. 18.gif

    3) Fullmetal Alchemist. Okay, so it's not a really good game. But I love it. Sometimes I just need a game that doesn't require a lot of thought: Level start, whackity, whackity, whackity, whackity, whack, level end.

    4) Final Fantasy X. One of these days, I'll finish it. And Tidus looks exactly like a Japanese surfer. (And I've seen lots of them having lived on the beach in Atsumi.)

    5) Dark Cloud. A very good early PS2 game. Unique too.

Just bought Samurai Legend Musashi. Hope it's good enough to make the list. 9.gif

And if anyone from Squaresoft is reading this, PLEASE make Final Fantasy VII for PS2! I'd be all over that like a bunny on a carrot. 35.gif35.gif35.gif35.gif

Yup, I agree. FFX was so cool.

You do know that you can play PS1 games on your PS2? Maybe Square Enix could remake some of their old FF games to rerelease on the PS2 or PS3?
